Dear NN friends, I am taking a break from newbies for a while. It will be tough to not look at all you beautiful people for a while, but with summer and so much other stuff to do, I won't be viewing NN for a while. Hope to see you all again real soon.

i'm back from my week with dad. i helped with chores around the house and got to visit my old stomping grounds. i took some pix while there highlighting some areas i used to frequent while growing up. i will label these 'vacation pix'. i hope you enjoy while learning a little more about me.

Wednesday, April 27, 2005, 11:12:57 PM- senior moment story
my boss likes to send us junk emails. he really needs some work to do. (i hope he doesn't post here and see this.) anyway this one was supposedly a true story called a senior moment. i thought it was cute. here it is: Senior Moment This is a true account recorded in the Police Log of Sarasota, Florida... An elderly Florida lady did her shopping and, upon returning to her car, found four males in the act of leaving with her vehicle. She dropped her shopping bags and drew her handgun, proceeding to scream at the top of her voice, "I have a gun, and I know how to use it! Get out of the car!" The four men didn't wait for a second invitation. They got out and ran like mad. The lady, somewhat shaken, then proceeded to load her shopping bags into the back of the car and got into the driver's seat. She was so shaken that she could not get her key into the ignition. She tried and tried, and then it dawned on her why...For the same reason she did not understand why there was a football, a frisbee and two 12 packs in the front seat...A few minutes later, she found her own car parked four or five spaces farther down. She loaded her bags into the car and drove to the police station to report! her mistake. The sergeant to whom she told the story couldn't stop laughing. He pointed to the other end of the counter, where four pale men were reporting a car jacking by a mad, elderly woman described as white, less than five feet tall, glasses, curly white hair, and carrying a large handgun. No charges were filed. Moral of the story? If you're going to have a Senior Moment, make it memorable.

Saturday, April 23, 2005, 8:02:43 PM- rambling
it's springtime in new england. it was nice for a while, sunny and warm. we are presently getting some rain, which we need. fortunately, or unfortunately, it keeps me inside. i am sort of addicted to NN. i spend a lot of time daily looking at the new photos posted, reading some forums and notices. i would like to try to read others' blogs, but i just can't seem to find the time. how much time do others spend on NN. i probably spend one hour to one and a half hours daily. is that a lot? with spring here, i really have to get out and bike ride and/or run, but here i am on NN. any advice?

Tuesday, April 5, 2005, 11:13:10 PM- I'm back after my short vacation
i just returned from my few days in florida. it rained one day, and that day i took a hike in the everglades. i go to this park called shark valley. it is off tamiami trail. what a fabulous place. a road runs 7 miles into the everglades and you are right there with the gators, turtles, fish, birds, lizards, snakes. no fences, no barriers. it is amazing. i spent two days at haulover beach. i just love the naked body, male and female. i think men like to walk the beach to strut their stuff because we like the feel of the genitals bouncing around. very erotic.

Thursday, March 17, 2005, 11:32:38 PM- the NN fire department
have you noticed all the 'firemen' we have at NN nowadays? it's comforting to know we have our own fire department. considering how hot it gets around here sometimes, i feel much safer. i was wondering recently what the cross section of vocations is here. we should take a poll someday. i work with computers.

well, thanks to all my NN neighbors, i got information about Sams' plantation in ft. myers florida. apparently it is closed unfortunately. i can't wait to go. i am so sick of snow and cold. and i am so looking forward to going to the nude beach. i guess i am sort of a show off even though i don't feel i have much to show off. maybe that's why i like newbies. you all have been very nice here pumping up my ego. thanks.

Saturday, March 5, 2005, 12:02:41 AM- vacation to florida
I will be heading to the Ft Lauderdale area the end of March for a short escape from the snow and cold of the northeast. If anyone is at Haulover Beach April 1-4, hope to see you there. I need your help. I hear there is a place called Sams's pineapple plantation around Ft Myers? If anyone knows anything about it, I would appreciate any info. Thanks for any help. And thanks for your encouraging words about my postings. Hope to do more, but I keep trying to get the 'right' picture, if you know what I mean.
