Well, the meat and bread stuffings have been made and approved by Mom. The rum cake is marinating

. The turkey is is in the oven. The ham is defrosting. All the veggies and salad and trimmings are in the refrigerator. The tree is lit, presents wrapped, the floors washed, the bathroom cleaned, etc.

I talked to one of my sisters and the other one won't be making it. Her significant other has some health issues that she would rather not share with the extended family. My thoughts will be with her and her other and I'll send her gifts back. My cousin, on the other hand, is here before going back to Arizona so I've made sure he and his wife will be coming. My other cousin will be bringing her husband who resides in a nursing home so that will be a treat for him and us as I don't see him often now.

Wolf is gearing up for tomorrow's final rush through the house and the moving of furniture to accomodate the extra table and the influx of guests. He's also gearing up for me tonight....

It's chaos but enjoyable. I hope you all get to enjoy the holidays in your own crazy and happy manner.

Our households are so similar, it's just weird. God bless out crazy/nutty families! Mine is as crazy as it gets, and I could use a "sex free" fuck buddy, if you know what I mean. I have to admit my dear, after reading your blog, you have some very empethetic freinds. We could all use a little more of that now & then.

"Emotianal Sarvation" is something that attacks all of us at one time in our lives or another. Especialy here in NE. Cabin fever can be merciless! The NN freinds I have found here are second to NONE. I love them all. Every single woman who has the guts to be here is my hereo!
