Saturday was a pretty darn good day, lot's of 'family' time together. It was kind of nice since the next couple weeks will be pretty hectic so we all enjoyed the relaxing time together.

We watched some tv for a while after, had some 'family time' in front of the tube and then it was time to put our kid to bed. He kept begging to stay up later and later. I keep telling him he better get used to going to bed earlier because school wil be starting up soon, but he doesn't want to hear it. 8 going on 18, my god. He even asked me when he could have a cellphone of his own. I was like you gotta be kidding me, right? You are 8 years old, you don't need a frigging cell phone. He can't hardly keep track of his gameboy or DS, so a phone? I think not. Kids! lol.

After he went to bed hubby and I sat on the porch and hung out til it got too chilly to be outside - it is Summer, right? The weather has been so odd lately. We came in and watched a little more tv and then went online and chatted with some friends before heading off to bed ourselves. By then it was past midnight and I was beat, but I did get a nice backrub before I dozed off. Can't beat that. It was a nice Saturday.
