Had dinner and gift exchange with my husband's parents and grandmother tonight. We usually do it on Christmas Day, but she asked us to come over today instead. Less stress and a lot less people around which was nice. My hubby wasn't thrilled, he wanted to stay home but I am glad he came to his senses. It was actually rather enjoyable (coming from me that is a lot, I am not a fan of the in-laws generally). It was nice to have it 'just us.'

We also got to talk to T&K as they are docked in Kona until tonight. It had been days since we were able to talk to them as they were in open sea. It was so nice to hear their voices if only for a few minutes. We both miss them very much. It's like part of my family isn't here with me. I have grown so used to having a full house.

Still no kittens, BTW. I think this girl is gonna push it and make me wait as long as possible, that little brat.
