lar's blog post - Getting Old

Another birthday came and went, September 6th, and I can't help but wonder when is OLD? If your as old as you feel, then I am way over the hill, but If your only as old as you think you are then I am still 20 and dead sexy!!! Actually I'm 41 and I'm finding that to be a comfortable age. Think back to when you were a kid, and your parents turned 30, 40, or even 50, did you think they were old? I did! Perspective is the answer to a lot of lifes questions. Am I a perv?... well to the average NN goer... NO, but to a fridged church lady.... yup! Do I make a lot of money?.... to a teenager... YUP, but to a CEO.....NO! I think we all should try to answer lifes questions with perspective. Does the USA belong in the WAR in IRAQ?... to a Mother that just lost her Son or Daughter there... NO!!! but to an 8 year old boy in IRAQ that just lost his DAD to Al-queada -1 sp .... Most definately. So knowing all this I try to not make one sided decisions, and you can believe that drives my wife crazy. There is always one side I am always on.... and thats the side of a friend whether I think they are right or wrong, cause as I pointed out they have a different perspective!!! Trust is always given first.... then you verify! SO on that note, you will always see me siding with my NN friends on all arguments. ESPECIALLY JUICY!!! So when you need someone to back you up? CALL ME....well IM me...lol.

The plant is back in outage again and I am working nights, gotta hate nights, but it's nice having the bed all to myself. The alternative is a never ending series of getting up at 4:30 am to get to work early and pray for a parking spot.... so much stress to start a day. I'm always cranky on nights so the wife and Kids are always on the edge. It's contageous you know.

Have to mention a few people... Beachdreams... love your blogs, glad to see you putting your life together again.... Juicy,... I'm proud of you... taking back control of your life. Cowgirl... love the blogs, anxiously awaiting the pics of you and the GF. Strawberry... realize your one of us and stay here... we miss you when your away. Lastly Hotmomto3... Miss ya lots....HUGS!
