Have you ever introduced yourself to new neighbors and then promptly forgotten their names? Well, I forget names pretty easy so that is my lot. I recently got new neighbors next door, I introduced myself and then promptly forgot the man's name. Actually, maybe it just didn't register. So when he sees me he hollers out, "Hi Len ........" and I say "HI" with no name. I think he noticed that I wasn't saying his name. I remember his wife's name because I have a sister in law who has the same name. But fuck if I remember his. So today I was doing some yard work and he was out there and hollered out, "Hey Len, hey, if we ever make too much noise or if you need help with anything, just come over and say, "hey Rich......."". OK, I got it now! I think his name is Rich! Now if could remember his son's name............. |
