I just took the dog for a walk. A nice, cold but dry day then 20 minutes into the walk I spot a lovely rainbow above me - all seemed good in the world.

Two minutes later .... a hail storm hits ... pinging off me and the dog, the size of small marbles straight in our faces

.... ouch! A twenty minute walk back home in this awful weather - both of us drenched and soggy - no more rainbow and no pot of gold to be seen

Got a nice pot of tea now though - glad to be home
