Saturday, January 30, 2010, 3:21:54 AM- "Aepyceros melampus"
"Aepyceros melampus" is a taxonomic name. According to Wikipedia, it is derived from four Greek words: "aipos" (high), "ceros" (horn), "melas" (black), "pus" (foot). In short, it is a "high-horned, black-footed" animal. It is a type of antelope native to southern Africa. The Zulu have a word for this animal: "impala". The animal, known for its swiftness, lent its name to a General Motors automobile under the "Chevrolet" division. It seems one, a 1965 "SS" type, was spotted on Thursday. Enjoy, Sheepy (and everyone else). )

Friday, January 29, 2010, 6:27:38 AM- Ooh, Shiny!
Spent three hours at the local Auto Show. It was worth it. I was so taken with all the shiny cars, mostly new models but also a few displays of classic cars. The Mustangs were not for sale; they were part of a club whose members displayed their prides and joys. I went today because they were expecting bad weather here on Saturday (when I would have much more time to walk around). But, three hours was enough time. It was a nice evening walking around.

Wednesday, January 20, 2010, 6:13:44 AM- A Parallel Between Monday and Tuesday
Taken by me on 18 Jan 2010. Spent my Monday holiday at the zoo. Was a fun day (but lots of walking; ended up taking a nice hot bath later that night. Tuesday, back at work... not so much. At least the animals at the zoo were in pens. Some people at work should be penned or drowned in a bath. On to Wednesday! Thanks for reading.

Sunday, January 17, 2010, 6:12:56 PM- Star Trek Had It Right
In Douglas Adams's books, the answer to the universe is "42". In the Star Trek universe, that number is "47". As I tend to like Star Trek, I'll take 47 for now. No, I have nothing against "42" (before the comments start). And how fitting that the number 47 would appear today. Today, thebody2nv is 47. He's in very good company with January birthdays, as SCC's birthday was last week, and catchme imfalling's birthday is tomorrow. So, this is just a simple message wishing him a very happy birthday. Thanks for reading.

1) Today was the first day in about a week I was able to leave the house without wearing thermies! It got to about 10 (50 F) for the second day in a row. Today, unlike Thursday, I wore a short-sleeved shirt to work. 2) Had to deal with health insurance stuff again, but despite one step back (nothing serious), I managed to move two steps forward. Yay for me! 3) There are some hot men on this site. Yup. 4) I had to get off the train on Tuesday to use a restroom. My medication had been acting up, and I got off and went to the station manager (they have to unlock the door to the area where the customer bathroom is). First, she was on the phone, loudly. Second, she had this "What the fuck do you want?" look on her face. Third, there was another gent who also needed to go, so I let him go ahead of me, and she gave me yet another look. When he came out to let her know he had finished, she was helping someone else. When she came back, I told her the gent before me had finished... and that's when she rolled her eyes and tersely told me that I should have been right by the door. Poor woman *sarcasm* had to unlock the door again, because I make a point of needing an emergency bathroom at an unbusy station. 5) People know I can't do maths, but I know when I should break out a calculator. Case in point: in the supermarket, my mom was looking at a 12-pack of paper kitchen towels. I say "Hey, it's 12 for $10!" She starts: "It's 15 for $13.99 at X store, and I have a coupon!" (She was so proud of that coupon, as it was for a $1 off any variety of that brand of towel.) I had my mobile, and did the math. "Mom, here it's 83 c per roll, and at X it's 87 c". She mentioned the coupon again. I said, "We can use the coupon here". She said... "Oh." Deadpan. She bought the 12-pack. I know, I know... some will be horrified at the thought of buying paper towels at all. But did I mention my grandmother almost burned the kitchen down by boiling cloth towels and then going to her room... with the stove on... and the water boiled out... and the cloth towels were hot enough to catch fire? Yeah, good times. Haven't been in a mood to do much on here, and even taking photos has been a chore. But, I think it's time to put some out of my mind and try to have fun here again. Three-day weekend, so I'll enjoy it as best I can. Thanks for reading.

Friday, January 15, 2010, 10:57:29 PM- OK, That's It...
You are not worth naming. Others have seen your blog now. What you failed to tell them is that your screen cap is from an incident on 4 July 2009. If you can count, that is six months ago. Support considered the matter closed as of 20 July 2009. I have their email to that effect. I have given you a wide berth since. I've left you alone to do whatever you wished. If you are having issues with Support over your own behaviour since that period, that is for you to deal with. Trust me, I know what you've been up to. So... since you like screen caps so much, I have taken a screen cap of your latest blog and sent it to Support for their review, lest you too delete it and claim innocence. I don't like screaming but I will: I WILL NOT BE DICTATED TO BY A MADMAN INTENT ON PARRYING HIS OWN ILLNESS INTO A VENDETTA THAT WASN'T. I dropped it, but you did not. When you contacted me on Facebook in an effort to draw me into your games, yet again, that's when you crossed a line. I fully intent to report you over there as well. You need help. You are a sad fellow, and I wish you well. As for me, I'm done with you.

Sunday, January 10, 2010, 4:36:09 AM- Friend from Out of Town
Given this is the third time I got to see mikey_s I said I wanted a photo. Well, I got a photo, but it's for my own memory... so I made a representative drawing: So, I dared to take an Englishman to an Indian restaurant outside of the UK. It was a good restaurant, but not as good as the dinner company. I enjoyed my evening. Thanks, m8. )

Thursday, December 31, 2009, 3:44:03 AM- For You
For you who made life happy, For you who made life bearable, For you who made life less sad, For you who made life renewed, I hope you will continue to make my life happy, bearable, less sad, renewed. For those of you who made life anything but... well, you can fuck off. With a rotted chimney poker. Covered in dried faeces. For my friends near and far, you made it to another year. For those who didn't make it, I will remember all the good you brought to me and others (snowy and jack, miss you both). 2009 is about to end, and here's hoping 2010 will be a good year. Cheers. xxx Turn the page.

OK, so they can change the categories to say "Butts / Ass", and they can have "Tits", and "Tits - Small", and "Tits - Large", and "Tit Fucks" and a whole "Chicks With Cars" category... But they can't have a "Lingerie / Underwear" category? How fucking sexist! **We have only a "Lingerie" category. What we don't have is a broader category that fits both men and women. Geez, we're about to enter 2010! At least add the word "Underwear" to that one category. Men post in underwear ALL the time, and women (and some of us inclined males) actually like that. /steps off soapbox.
