yesterday im at work n a couple ladies pass me so i say happy holidays
most of the time i do say merry christmas or happy new year
1 of the ladies turns around n stares me n the eyes n saids u did mean 2 say merry christmas didnt u
so i replied
i did merry christmas, happy new year
holidays

a friend posted this on facebook n i saw it after i got home

i do not understand what the big deal is

if u are jewish tell me happy hanukkah
if u are christian tell me merry christmas
if u are african american tell me joyous kwanzaa
if u dont prefer 1 of those tell me happy holidays

the thing is i would not be offended
i would be thankful that u took the time 2 say something nice 2 me

a bit of humor

dear santa,
i have been good this year
well ive been good most of the time
actually ive only been good a few times but i was very,very good

it does not matter, i will buy my own presents

christmas was always the biggest time of year growing up every 1 came 2 my grandmothers she would get up at 5 am on christmas morn in start cooking
family would help we would have n awesome meal around 2
afterwards us kids played w our new stuff til around 6 then we all gathered around the table again for seconds n desserts

so with humor take a look at n italian christmas
however we never had salami we went w turkey
merry christmas
to italians it is buon Natale


christmas eve was great time 2 sing n dance n awesome food


then off 2 mid nite mass
in when we got home we got to open our presents
my protestant friends would say that is not fair
id say santa came while we were gone
why wait
then we would get up early n watch the christmas parade
so that is my memories of christmas past
