My cleaning lady was in to do the bathroom a couple days ago, and when she left she asked why I was using the type of shampoo I had. Well, it was brand new quart of stuff my Mom used before she broke her hip and went into a nursing home. I figured I would just use it up. I asked hew why she asked it went like this:
CL that stuff is for grery hair
Mort; Yea, I know
CL No, it makes grey hair stand out
Mort; It doesn't help hide it?
CL; No, it's supposed to highlight it, make it more shiney!
Mort; S***

Now, I have had enough grey hair for that "distinguished" look for 10 years or more (OK, 15 stop niggiling), and I'm sort of overly distinguished now. I really don't need "EXTRA" highlights, FFS!!!!!

Am I the only one getting stupider as I get older?
When does the *wisdom* thing start kicking in?

Note to self: "check the labels on stuff" & "go to Long's tommorow"

LMMMAAO!!!! My grandmother had this kind of shampoo... it's to reduce 'yellowing' and make grey hair white and less discoloured. If you have good-looking grey hair, it actually makes dark hair look that much darker, and blond hair more even.

But, I'd alternate your old-folk shampoo and 'young people' shampoo. :p

there is nothing wrong with your grey hair! Would you rahter have the pretty grey hair that you have? or..that ugly yellow grey hair that some have?

Grey hair adds distinction to a man, look at Sean Connery well up into his 60s with grey hair and still voted at one of the sexiest men..so go with it Mort..

Grey haired men are so sexy. That shampoo works great on platinum blonde hair as well unless u leave it on too long then it looks like a blue rinse lol.

oh morty it's a good thing.just makes it not yellow like mdguy said..so it's not an aging thing. if i were younger i'd like all my white just grow out..my mom was turning grey at fifteen..i might need some special shampoo for my colored blonde

Mort- go grab a bottle of Prell... it will strip it and make it shine shine shine all at the same time! LOL, and if you need to pull the wax off your floor... it will eat through that too! But it makes your hair beeeeeuuuuttttiiiffffuuuuullll!!! =)

lol...my grey has turned white naturally.
