I read this in "The Kite Runner" a novel I just finished:

"That's the thing about people who mean everything they say. They think everyone else does too"

Do you suppose that is true? Is that why some people are gullible and others no so musch so?

I try to mean everything I say, but I'm learning to see that it isn't true of everyone.

I respectfully disagree with that line, as good an observation it might be.

I do believe that, to a certain extent, we see in others what we see in ourselves.
