Greetings one and all

Soz, became a bit blah at blogging of late lol

Life some times over takes our lives...

The suns been out .. In Rainchester (lol I had it on cam, just a shot through my sky light as fluffy clouds passed by a backdrop of brilliant sky blue, the one time i haven’t had hecklers lmao or demands...)
I feel like Ronnie Corbett, I digress, overtaken .. I was at...

Earlier this year I moved into a new place. Shared house, it’s the cheapest way to live, yet well established here in Manchester
Sweet as.
Not. Sweet as... as it turns out.

My landlord it transpired is a bit of a crook.. mmm quite a bit of a crook in fact a crook a scoundrel and a liar...
So enough people have reason to complain about their landlord.

Firstly I’m a property Manager  (I kick myself to this day...).

Secondly.. well here comes a list...
He tales money for paying the bills then.. buys tea, coffee, shopping at tesco’s and BUYS PLANE TICKETS (ok he only bought one...), the bills didn’t get paid lol and he amassed a debt of just over £900. To escape paying that by virtue of being sued by the utility company he had a gas meter installed with that debt placed on it. The meter was at first collecting the debt at the rate of 70% of monies placed on it?????

He’s let out rooms that he’s subdivided into illegal sizes???
He owes numerous previous tenants deposits not returned.
He steals food, milk, etc.

Switches the electricity off at 12 midnight.

Swears and abuses tenants and then swears blind he never swears despite being caught on video (i video him always) and recorded...

He has broken into numerous people rooms... He told the police it was to do a viewing, he said he’d mentioned weeks aago that he’d be doing viewings some time !?!?!?!??!?!? The others he just did and said he did coz .. he did...

I have had a court injunction against him since the end of March and another got another injunction against him weeks later. He breached the order by changing the locks and was given 25hrs to replace the locks.. he decided to replace the locks using a GRINDER at midnight on the street!?!

He physically bullied a 19 year old out of the house, he’d physically push up against her.........
The last session in court, final directions before the court case at the beginning of next month he was asked when he was available to get this dealt with as soon as possible.. he said “2013” lmao.. the judge lent forward and said, did u say you want this case held over till 2013 (the leaning forward was a clue i thought in what NOT to say next.. the landlord didn’t hear my thoughts though), the landlord answered “yes” LMFAO The judge after telling the landlord to be quiet quite often, the landlord repeating he wanted it done next year??? (figuring we’d be gone by then) . The judge then said.. what date in August are you free, pick a date or the judge would pick one for him and if the landlord didn’t make it he would lose the case. Without s much as a change in heart beat the landlord then said, whatever date suits your honour. Damn I wish i could have videoed that. The whole thing, hilarious.

Anyways next month we’re set. Well we are, solicitor tells me now tha, we left and the landlord had 2 hrs to make sure that date was ok and verify it before he left the court. He did and then that evening emailed to say he wanted a different date hahaha. Further more he sent in a self reference as his one and only testimony in his defence (it all gets crazy.. a new house mate, Carlos from Spain, told me the landlord asked him for a reference. Carlos wrote a 4 sentence reference. Iv just moved in, the landlord has been ok. The housemates are ok. I want a peaceful life. Carlos cited to me. He says the landlord sent back a grammatically corrected version of those 4 sentences that were now 20 and complained about the other housemate and I, Carlos was straight on the blower to the landlord saying whooooooaaaaaaaa (or esperate in Spanish lol) and Carlos says he ended up putting the phone down coz the landlord refused to listen to Carlos ref changing everything Carlos had written. Knocked on Carlos’s door today just to assure him that no testimony had been placed on his behalf. Mad mad landlord.

So on the cardfs are a £5,000 award to either of us 2 tenants, court costs for both our cases that only got joined as one last week... at around £25,000

Oh and in investigating the landlord i’v discovered he’s in debt to the tune of £40,000 in overdrafts,, fines & bills.

I’m mellow as. This man has been ripping people off for years. The house is situated along the curry mile, students used it for years, he has fleeced them, tried to baffle them with words, threats, etc. I pushed some people together earlier this year and we got together the proof that he’d falsified Tenancy agreements so he didn’t pay the house council tax which as a on owner of a HMO house he is required to do so by law... He is going to get all that he is WELL due.

Ps did I mention.. SUN.. MANCHESTER ... WHOOP WHOOP

Unscrupulousness landlords, I have been so lucky when renting, but maybe this might help in the future to help answer questions... http://england.shelter.org.uk/home xoxo
