Okay, so this blog has become a complete and utter mess with me going all over the board. And well, I like it that way.

Things have been very frenzied and crazy for me the past couple of months -- and I think the eclecticness of this blog reflects that.

Several years ago, I bought a Tommy Hilfiger shirt that was a little too tight to wear out and about without something over it. It has been in the bottom of my drawer for the last several years as my weight drifted up closer to 300 pounds.

Well this summer saw a lot of changes in my life -- new career and enrolling in a weight loss group. And both are doing okay.

Last night I was crowned the "biggest loser" of the week by our group for losing 3.2 pounds and the "biggest loser" of the month for dropping almost 8 pounds this month. It was so cool! And to make it even better a good friend of mine - one that I attribute part of my change to -- was present to give us a presentation. It really meant a lot to me.

But the ultimate "gift" was this morning I needed to do laundry and found that old shirt in my drawer. Slipped it on and slipped it on. And it totally fits! Don't have to wear anything over it.

Whoo-hoo!
