New Zealand soldiers stormed the beaches in Gallipoli and begun our deadliest campaign in any war .....we fought side by side with the Australian forces and so began our ANZAC tradition (Australian and New Zealand Army Corps) .....today I attended the dawn service along with around 20,000 others in my wee city to give thanks to those who have fought so I can live in the freedom I enjoy.....LEST WE FORGET

They shall grow not old, as we that are left grow old
Age shall not weary them, nor the years condemn.
At the going down of the sun and in the morning,
We will remember them.

Nice thoughts there Saffy. Judging by the turn outs, especially the younger generation, they won't be forgotten.
