sammiealice's blog post - sorry i have not been around

hubby and i went a way for a long weekend vacation. drove down in beautiful weather---61 degrees. woke up the next morning to rain and 40. the next day was sunny and 33--and windy. so, we spent some time in bed----not enough for horney little me. so sight seeing and eating. i love vacation food because mornings can start with waffles---my favorite vacation food.

we went on a whale watching tour. omg, we saw some--they were beautiful. never saw a tail but we did see their backs. and dophins swam next to the boat---with a baby---well, maybe a juvanile but so cute.

unfortuantely, i hurt my back---and not in bed and by the time we got home, the car ride really long, i could barely stand up. so i have been on muscle relaxers and pain meds for a couple of weeks. spent three days in bed----you can not really do any thing in bed with a bad back except rest your back.

well, everything is on the mend and i can get back on line. but my premium has expired and i need to get a gift card to renew (don't want hubby to find out about my membership)and have not been able to do that yet (since hubby lost his job, i know he is watching our accounts and i have to be careful that i "hide" the purchase---so i plan to "hide" it when i purchase groceries tomorrow.

once i get my renewal, i will try to catch up on everyones blogs and pics.
