seshat's blog post - So needed

This weekend was a long time coming, rough week at work... Yesterday I worked from 8AM till 8PM, together with a girl who works for me. Why? Because several co-workers, one in particular, didn't do their work on time. And because my boss used my admin assistant for private stuff during work hours, so we 'lost' a lot of time. I didn't have a blood pressure device with me yesterday, but I can assure you that I was definitely tense. And very pissed off. Because the deadline is Monday, and I can see us working till 8PM again, if not later.

It's probably one of the most misinterpreted quotes, but in its misinterpretation I do agree: "L'enfer, c'est les autres" - "Hell is other people".

On a positive note, when I came home there was a lovely fire burning in the wood stove. I'm really a homebody, I love cocooning at home, and the level of cosiness is definitely high here

Anyway, I'm still working on a text for a contest. It's in French, so I need to leave enough time for a correction by a literature-minded native speaker of French, so I'd better get cracking!
