It is a skillet shrimp scampi served over bow tie pasta which has in it green beans. red bell pepper, garlic (of course) onion, white wine, cornstarch, chicken broth, red pepper flakes, lemon juice, sliced black olives, grated parmesan and is simply delicious. I mean are your mouths watering yet. Mine is and I can't wait. Hope I'm not so anxious to eat it and remember to take a picture. Psst, leftovers are just as delicious so I make plenty of it.

Ok here it is the long awaited menu for this upcoming Saturday. Entree: Lemon-rubbed whole chicken legs with garlic and rosemary Veggies: Broccoli and Green Bean Starch: Spanish Rice Now the veggie and the spanish rice are the same pairing I had with the pork loin roast. But the last time that combo was eaten was on that date (8/13) so as you can see it isn't often repeated. Anyway I have fully charged batteries and the pic should be in Sat night. I know with all the anxiousness how can anyone even get a wink of sleep. lol Bon apetite

Ok now, as mentioned below I just got back from my trip and apparently my brain must still be down there as I forgot to recharge the batteries so no pics of the dinner. Now you will just have to take my word for it but it not only looked delicious but tasted the same. So next time I do this I will photo it then.

Ok, back from my trip to the Texas Gulf and it was great. Beautiful weather, off season so hardly anyone around, simply a great getaway. Now down to the business at hand. Dinner, well I didn't actually decide until late last night but here it is: Entree: Pan-seared tilapia with a chili lime butter served over greens of mache, frisee and radiccio with grape tomatoes. note: the fish will be complimented with sauteed scallops and shrimp. Veggie: no veggie with this as it is served over the greens. Starch: Long grain and wild rice enhanced with finely chopped taragon.

Since I will be away next week catching rays along the Texas Gulf coast I didn't prepare a menu for today. But this is what I did have; I picked up some Ruby's baby back pork ribs, skipped the sauce as the rub is delicious. I did cook up some corn on the cob Got some cole slaw from Ruby's and doctored it up with some hot sauce and a dash of paprika. An ice cold longneck bottle of beer and was well not meaning to be cruel to the entre I was in HOG heaven.

So here are the pics of tonights dinner. Chili rubbed steak with pisto manchego and jalapeno enhanced noodles. I also added a variation on the pisto manchego by putting some crumbled pancetta bits over the top. : - ) Oh yes it was delicious.

Chicken Piccata with some changes; yellow bell pepper slices instead of onion and coating one side with a flavorer. It was great:
