HAD A BIT OF A SCARE LAST WEEK, I woke up Tuesday morning, ridiculously dizzy. I got out of bed and almost fell to the floor. I took a shower and had to lay back down. When I closed my eyes, I felt like I was drunk. The room was spinning, I thought I was gonna be sick. I went to work, feeling better as the day went on, but by the end of the day I felt like I was coming down off of a high. There's alot of history of diabetes in my family, so all kinds of things started going through my head. Tuesday night when I layed down to sleep, my heart started racing, I actually layed there scared something was gonna happen. First time in my life I was ever worried about nonsense like that. The rest of the week was the same, albeit not as bad. I went to my Doctor yesterday for a physical and complete check, telling him the same story. He did his usual check including blood work. I got all my tests back today, EVERYTHING'S PERFECT. Turns out I had an ear infection, he thinks it gave me a bout of Vertigo. Damn that was nasty. He says Vertigo can be pretty "unsettling" to say the least. I can't tell you how much better I feel knowing nothin is really wrong. Alot of weird shit goes through your mind when you realize you're not indestructible. I doubt I'll be becoming a priest or anything like that, I think my life's just fine, but I will be changing some of my habits and a few lifestyle changes. They needed doingt anyway, but this gives me a good reason.
