I couldn't take it anymore, so last night I did my first "real" chest workout since my tear. I climbed back on that Damn horse. I got under a bar and put a 10lb plate on each side, so 65lbs and did a set of 15. It felt like nothing, which is good. next set 25lbs on each side, 95lbs total. Idid a set of 20 with that. Still it felt like nothing. Next set, 35lbs on each side, 115 total, did 20 again, this time I could feel the weak spot. It felt a little "stretchy" but nice. Last set I did was with 45lb plates on each side, so 135 total did a set of 20, felt tired after. I then went on to do incline flys doing sets of 15 with 20, 30, 40, and 45lb. dumbells. Damn this sucks, I feel like such a pussy. Recovery takes time, I know. Last thing I did was cable flys which i did all 4 sets with 50lbs. on each side. These were the most touchy, but I expected that because of the stretch involved. All in all a decent chest workout, for the first one. I wouldn't say I'm happy, but I'm happier. Last note to self for now, Maybe ought to send a letter to NN, we could make our own calendar to sell with all of us in it each month, We could start nominations for who's gonna be in it each year in January and February. Then get it published and out by September???????? Any thoughts from anybody?? |
