See, see I told you!!! this me standing here with no heart. Why? You ask? We take 2 of 3 from Boston, in Boston, we SWEEP the Yankees, at home. We're the hottest team in baseball. So what do we do??????? We go to Toronto and get swept by the Damn Blue-Jays. Hell they almost no-hit us today!!! we got 1 FKN hit with 1 out in the 9th inning. I knew I should not have said anything.

I'm just gonna go sit over there with a gaping hole in my chest!!!!

I used to root hard for a team or two in my time. Then I realized the patently obvious: In baseball virtually any team can beat virtually any team any time. So, I expect most records to be around 50/50. So now I concentrate on watching games that will be close or where there is an exceptional defensive play or two. Talk to any ball player and congratulate him on his great hitting. He will say, "Thanks, but how was my defence?"
