So I can bring you an update on a moron. Remember the tools who destroyed part of a Jurassic Era stone formation? If you haven't seen the 56 second video 5 blogs down, please do. It's well worth it to see morons in action. Annnnyhoooooo. The boneheads troubles are even bigger now. Man Who Toppled Ancient Rock Suing for Disability. ABC News: By Gillian Mohney October 20, 2013 2:37 PM A Boy Scout leader who came under fire for pushing over an ancient boulder in a national park filed a suit last month claiming he was suffering permanent "disability" and "impairment" from an auto accident four years ago. Glenn Taylor initially faced scrutiny after a video of him pushing over a Jurassic era rock formation in the Goblin Valley State Park in Utah went viral. However Taylor is now facing additional scrutiny after it was revealed that he filed a suit claiming he has endured "great pain and suffering, disability, impairment, loss of life" stemming from a 2009 car accident, according to ABC News affiliate KTVX-TV in Salt Lake City, Utah. According to KTVX, Taylor said in the documents he has incurred an estimated $5,000 in medical related expenses. Alan Macdonald, who is being sued by Taylor because it was his daughter who hit Taylor's car, told KTVX that he was "highly offended" by Taylor's actions. "Somebody with a bad back who is disabled who can't enjoy life to me doesn't step up and push a rock right off its base," Macdonald said. Calls to a number listed in Taylor's name and to his attorney were not immediately returned. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Well of course the boneheads attorney isn't taking any calls. His client is a fraud. Once he is done being fined for the destruction of a national park, he will need to come up with money for the civil suit when the fraud case is filed.

Saturday, October 19, 2013, 5:56:57 AM- Busy week again. But it's all good.
The saying goes "If you love your job, you will never work a day in your life" I love what I do and have from the beginning. Yes, at times it makes me tired. But it is a wonderful tired. Yes, I pay more attention to it, than myself. It's all good. In the end I will be rewarded. Most of the time I am rewarded during the entire day. Today was one of those days. This was at work with an employee that I didn't know. I was walking to lunch and saw Bill. He saw me and waved for me to come over. He looked concerned. As I walked up to him, I noticed the surrounding area. There was a young man on the ground sitting against a tree and a another man sitting on a bench. Before I reached the tree Bill and one other Suicide Interventionist (the one on the bench) approached me and told me that they tried to get the young man to open up. He refused and said that he wasn't ready to talk. The other SI's did their best and I applaud them. But there was one thing that they didn't do. They didn't get on the ground and sit with him in the dirt. I sat down and introduced myself. At first he was refusing to talk. So we just sat there listening to the birds. Over thirty minutes went by and then he spoke. He said that I was a good listener. That made me giggle and I smiled at him. I got him to snicker when I replied with "Well you talk too much". So I lightly touched his shoulder and that made him start to cry. He began to speak and opened up as to why he wanted out. We talked for over an hour and then he gave permission for a counselor to join him. Once the counselor appeared, it was time for me to go. The reward for this? A smile from a young man who trusted me. I was in the right place at the right time. I was placed there for a reason. My plan was to have lunch in my office, but the day was too beautiful to stay in. This young man had the same thought and felt as if it was too beautiful to stay in. Thank you fate, it was meant to be. The week has been exhausting. But like I said, no worries. At the end of the day I feel great because I try to do my best. We all try to do our best and that is all that matters. I have a job that I enjoy so let's not call it work.

Ancient rock formations destroyed by Scout Leaders. By Erin McClam, Staff Writer, NBC News Authorities in Utah are considering criminal charges against a group of men who gleefully shoved a boulder off its perch in a state park — and disturbed a rock formation that park officials say is 170 million years old. The men, identified by The Salt Lake Tribune as Boy Scout leaders, recorded the antics, and cheered and high-fived after they toppled the rock. As one of the men was jostling the boulder loose, the cameraman sang a 1990 dance-party hit: “Wiggle it — just a little bit.” The cameraman shows how the boulder, in Goblin Valley State Park, was perched on a small ledge that appears no more than a foot or two wide. "We have now modified Goblin Valley,” says the cameraman, identified by local news outlets as Dave Hall. Utah authorities did not see it that way. County and state prosecutors are considering criminal charges, Eugene Swalberg, a spokesman for the Utah state parks, told the Deseret News newspaper. “This is not behavior that is appreciated or should exist in state parks,” he said. “This has been formed for literally millions of years, and it’s supposed to last for a long time. We don't need individuals doing the work of Mother Nature.” Swalberg said the rock formations, known as goblins for their shape, date to the Jurassic Era. I hope they never take a trip to Stonehenge. Watch the video and not only see but also hear morons in action.

Thursday, October 17, 2013, 5:34:32 AM- Ghosts? Do you believe?
Joeytomatoes has a forum thread on this very subject. So do you think they exist and have you had an encounter? All of my life I questioned this and had heard stories. Did they exist? Would I ever believe? Then one day I did believe. I cannot go into all of the details of it, but I will have to mention a few things in order for this to make sense. About 26 years ago, my Sister G and her husband died in a tragic motorcycle accident. According to reports: During the fire, paramedic and police response, my sisters body was approached by the paramedic and upon VISUAL inspection the paramedics deemed her 'beyond saving' and covered her with a sheet. I won't graphically describe her injuries. They moved over to my brother in law. He didn't have any visible injuries and they found a pulse and heart beat. But when they lifted him, brain matter seeped out of his helmet. According to the report, 20 minutes had passed when my sisters body was lifted onto the stretcher and that is when the medics heard her take a shallow breath. It seems G had been under the sheet and alive the entire time they were tending to my brother in law, who was actually dead. According to reports, the paramedics began working on G. Their help was of no use and G died while they were finally trying to save her. Because of the visual inspection that the paramedics performed, the city created a new policy that any victim, no matter how gruesome the injuries, would be checked for a pulse and heart beat. Okay, so let's jump to the ghost encounter. For months after the funeral, I was still crying uncontrollably. Then suddenly at night I began hearing G's voice when I turned out the lights to go to sleep. I wasn't asleep when I heard G call my name. It was during the quiet time in the dark as I closed my eyes. This went on for days. It would freak me out and I would pull the covers over my head. The hubs at the time, the father of my sons made a comment. He said "It's G, so what are you afraid of? "Tell her you love her and ask if she is okay" A week or so later, I turned out the lights, R was asleep and I said my prayers and closed my eyes. G called my name. I started to shake and quietly said "I love you G, are you okay?" I could feel a chill and then a warmth over my face. I heard her voice "I'm with Christopher, I love you. Go to sleep and stop crying" Skip back in time many years during the wedding of G and C. G said her vows and part of her vows to Chris were "During our love and life, if you should leave this world, may I not feel what one minute without you would be like" G got her wish and her ghost let me know that she was where she was meant to be. Now I don't know if it was my subconscious, a dream or a ghost, but I do know one thing.....I know I wasn't asleep. G? I love you but I still cry and miss you.

Tuesday, October 15, 2013, 8:24:52 PM- October 15 is I love Lucy Day.
Honest, it is. Lucille Ball and the series she created for herself was my all time favorite. I know every episode by heart. And due to my constant viewing of the series over and over and over again, my sons also know each episode by heart. Here are a few little tid bits about Lucille Ball. **Her stage name was Diane Belmont. She changed it back to her real name because she didn't want to be someone else. **Bette Davis was her classmate in school when they were teenagers. **Her first job was being a model for the Hattie Carnegie New York Modeling Agency. **She was born with light brown hair, but went blonde because her agent told her to do so. Lucille Ball didn't want to be like everyone else, so she created the red hair color on her own. **She and Desi Arnaz created Desilu Productions so they would have control over their own series and the movies that they starred in together. During their divorce, Desi didn't want to run it anymore, so Lucille Ball bought him out. This meant that she was the first woman to own, run and control a major movie studio. This was unheard of in Hollywood during the Good Ole Boy days of the 1950's. **The studio went on to control and make the Star Trek and Untouchables Series. She owned the rights and later on in life when the series were made into a movie, her kids were given a cut. **She suffered from Ornothophobia. This is a fear of birds. When she was 3 years old, her father died and at the wake, a picture of some birds fell off of the wall and it scared her. That caused her fear. Cool stuff about one of Hollywood's Female Legends and Icons.
