Really I wasn't hiding. I have been lurking and commenting on blogs and stuff from time to time and of course...perving *cheezy grin*

Death is always a hard blow and I guess in some ways with the passing of my uncle it reminded me that my father's days are numbered also. My dad is my measure of all men. He is so totally amazing and it crushes me every day to see his health fail. I guess we all must come to terms eventually that our parents will not be with us forever. My youngest claims she is never moving out cause she can't fathom being away from. I guess it takes baby steps to come to terms with any sort of separation either wanted or unwanted, expected or unexpected.

On a totally brighter note..........COTTAGE SEASON STARTS FRIDAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I am off to open up the cottage this weekend I cannot wait. Its been since October when I was there last to close it up. Will be a work weekend but there will be play too. My neighbours are awesome up there.

I am signing off with a big "cheers" to all my fellow canucks and wishing them happy May 24 (appropriately named I might add) LMAO. For those non canucks.....cheers to a great weekend!!

One o' these days I want to have a cottage on an island in the Georgian Bay. My brother and I almost bought an island up there a few years ago when the exchange rate was in our favor. In the middle of planning a visit to put in an offer he decided to get married and I decided to re-career. So no island, no cottage.

i know the feeling about ur parents....my dad hasn't been to good of late and been in hospital.... you always remember them being so strong .... he is getting better now though
