......and no I don't mean our resident NN sweetheart "juicy" I mean "juicy couture"!! It even sounds pretentious doesn't it?

I took my daughter (the oldest) shopping today. We needed to buy her a rash guard. Bootz and the rest of the wave riders will know what this is. I thought at first that it sounded like something you applied to prevent STD's but alas....it is not. Seems she is going to a water park this week with her school. The kids were told they needed to wear appropriate swimwear ie) no bikini's. Well my daugher doesn't own a 1 pc bathing suit so we agreed that she could wear a rash guard on top and bikini bottoms. Great idea - right? Wrong. She takes me off to this sports store where nothing in the freakin place is under a hundred dollars. Roxy, Billabong, O'Neil and then she introduces me to "Juicy". "Juicy Couture" - you can have a tank top for $155....a bag for $300.....sunglasses for $500 and up....I was like OMG....get me out of this place. Clothing for rich kids I guess....only I think she forgot.....we aren't rich. Don't get me wrong I do enjoy the finer things in life and I am fortunate enough to have been somewhat spoiled but honestly I don't remember the last time I spent that kind of coin on clothing for myself - let alone her!!

TG........wondering what ever happened to shopping for kids at good ole Walmart - I am sure I could have bought a one pc for $20 but instead I got roped into a Billabong rash guard and a Roxy T-shirt.....sighhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!!!
