It had nothing to do with my hair, my looks or what I was wearing but rather to do with being a mom.
My daughter and I were talking today and she told me I was a sister to her and not a mom....now anyone who knows me knows I am firm but kind and very much an alpha by nature. I never want to be a sister to her. I always want to be the mom.....sometimes she will love me.....sometimes she will hate me but today.....I knew exactly what she meant and it made me proud of what and who I am - a MOM.
