Seems to be a lot of hum glum going around in these halls. Lots of busy people, transitions in life and so on. Like many of you I find that writing about it sometimes lifts the weight if even for a moment.

Day started out today with the sounds of a seal pup barking from my son's bedroom. Since I don't have a seal I could only assume it was the cough from hell. Kept him home from school today and took him to work with movies etc. to keep him quiet but busy. Lunch was eventful....got a call from a good friend in a bad situation. I am that friend that would do anything for anyone so I often get called upon in times of distress. After speaking with her and agreeing to meet her after work I headed back for my afternoon at the office. On the way back to the office I witnessed a kitty get hit by a car (((((( I immediately called my vet and she came and picked him up right away. I ventured back to work.....finished the day all the while hoping kitty was ok.....stopped at the vet on the way home....sadly kitty didn't make it (((((((

Visited that friend after work....took her to the grocery store and bought food for her and her children.....she would have done the same for me if I needed it. I listened, cried, offered some suggestions and had to make my way home. I feel good....but feel bad at the same time.

I sure hope tomorrow is a better day.

TG - tattered, tired and torn and realizing that although my heart tells me to....I can't save the world.
