I am not a professional programmer. Everything I know about Visual Basic and VBA has been self taught when I have a spare moment.

So it has always been a lot of fun when I work out a solution/upgrade to a VBA project that I maintain for former employer.

I finally figured out a work around to automate a process that I've been manually updating for the past couple years. It has been a mildly annoying roadblock that never irritated me enough to actually sit down and work it out. Most of that was due to the fact I only had to work on it two or three times a year.

This year has been a little different. A lot of the hard coded data is changing monthly, so working out this process saves me a ton of headaches with error-checking.

Just applied over 700 stamps (precanceled bulk mailing stamps). They are not the self adhesive kind, but the old lick-n-stick ones.

My fingers are coated and so is the sponge I use.

Tuesday, November 30, 2010, 3:35:08 AM- Coming up on day 60 for the P90X.

Added one additional week to the routine because week 6 went to pot with my schedule, so coming up on Day 60 one week behind plan.

Monday, November 15, 2010, 4:47:44 PM- The secret to my weight loss....

Apparently, I just have to complain about it on my NN blog... Seriously. I've been stuck at 198lbs for the last 2-3 weeks. Typed up a little bit of disappointment below. Weighed my self this morning... 196lbs.

Of course I stepped right into it when I told my girlfriend, "Honey, I just have to bitch about the weight to lose it."

She responded, "Sweetie, you should be 100lbs by now..."

Monday, November 15, 2010, 4:19:19 AM- Hmmmm.... Little burn out.

I've hit a small bump in the road. Worked out 4 of the 6 times this past week. Skipped two of the cardio workouts. It didn't fit into the schedule very well, and I was slacking.

Weight loss is still at a stand still. Not sure if this is still a "muscle weight gain v. fat weight loss", or if I need to cut my calories back a little more.

Made a Ginger Curry Chicken Noodle soup tonight. Got a little carried away with the curry powder. Had to add a little sweetener to soften the pungent bitterness (tablespoon of Agave Nectar).

Turned out okay with that small correction. Mmmmmmm... Hot soup.

Monday, November 8, 2010, 7:04:30 AM- What the hell is so hard about falling asleep?

Okay, so I get up in four hours to go to work, and I think I fell asleep for a whopping 20 minutes.

Today is so going to suck.

Saturday, November 6, 2010, 4:09:44 AM- Fell apart this week.

Shoulder strained. Sleep cycle all FUBAR. Other annoyances. Nothing really major, but total it up and it's been a pain (some quite literally).

Didn't keep my workout schedule with the P90X workout this week. I am going to tack on another week and just repeat this one over.

Apparently, the shadow of my razor is not sharp enough to get the job done, nor thinking about it equal enough to the task.

I was interrupted this morning while getting ready to go to my office by the fireplace repairman. Had to answer some questions the girlfriend wasn't sure about, and by the time I finished with that I had forgotten to shave.

Not truly a big deal, but I am a bit of the scruffy professional today.

Man, I did not sleep well last night. Girlfriend's cat was on and off the bed about once an hour, and being vocal about it. She's getting quite old and is deaf so it is plenty loud enough to wake me up.

Rough night.
