Monday, May 12, 2008, 1:58:36 AM- Mother's Day
It was an awesome weekend. All the kids and grandkids were here along with some extra's. I didn't have to do any of the cooking or the cleaning. I got woke up with flowers and breakfast. The only bad thing was the weather turned very cold and windy. My heart goes out to the families that suffered losses in the tornado's and storms. Happy Mom's day.

She was in the kitchen preparing to boil eggs for breakfast. He walked in; She turned and said, You've got to make love to me this very moment.' His eyes lit up and he thought, 'This is my lucky day.' Not wanting to lose the moment, he embraced her And then gave it his all; Right there on the kitchen table. Afterwards she said, 'Thanks,' And returned to the stove. More than a little puzzled, he asked, 'What was that all about?' She explained, 'The egg timer's broken.'

Wednesday, May 7, 2008, 2:45:18 AM- Grandma & Grandpa
Grandma and Grandpa were visiting their kids overnight. When Grandpa found a bottle of Viagra in his son's medicine cabinet, he asked about using one of the pills. The son said, "I don't think you should take one Dad; they're very strong and very expensive." "How much?" asked Grandpa. "$10.00 a pill," Answered the son. "I don't care," said Grandpa, "I'd still like to try one, and before we leave in the morning, I'll put the money under the pillow." Later the next morning, the son found $110.00 under the pillow. He phoned Grandpa and said, "I told you each pill was $10.00, not $110.00. "I know," said Grandpa. "The hundred is from Grandma!"

My new helmet has finally arrived so I am going to ride my scooter to work for the first time. This ought to be fun! Have a great week everyone!

Sunday, May 4, 2008, 1:50:09 AM- Week in review - in my world
1. Only worked 3 days this week but it was a very intense 3 days. Server problems, email problems combined with trying to get into a routine with new customers was a bit frustrating. 2. The weather has just sucked - Had to make sure tomato plants and flowers were covered to prevent frost damage. Is winter ever going to go away? If it isn't cold it's raining. (I am saying prayers for the people that got hit by the tornado's and flooding) 3. Had to go to an Oral Surgeon to get a tooth cut out. If I ever have to go back I will ask to be sedated! 4.Bright spot of the week. I am going to be a new mom by the end of the year if it all works out. Soon we will be starting legal process to adopt the baby. She will make child #8 in our combined family, the oldest is 35 and she is 15 months. (is that enough to start my own ball team??) If I had to balance it all out I think it was a good week after all.

Thursday, May 1, 2008, 8:46:08 PM- The Lone Rangers last request.
The Lone Ranger was ambushed and captured by an enemy Indian war party. The Indian Chief proclaims, 'So, you are the great Lone Ranger. In honor of the Harvest Festival, you will be executed in three days. Before I kill you, I grant you three requests. What is your first request?' The Lone Ranger responds, 'I'd like to speak to my horse.' The Chief nods and Silver is brought before the Lone Ranger who whispers in Silver's ear, and the horse gallops away. Later that evening, Silver returns with a beautiful blonde woman on his back. As the Indian Chief watches, the blonde enters the Lone Ranger's tent and spends the night. The next morning the Indian Chief admits he's impressed. 'You have a very fine and loyal horse, but I will still kill you in two days. What is your second request?' The Lone Ranger again asks to speak to his horse. Silver is brought to him, and he again whispers in the horse's ear. As before, Silver takes off and disappears over the horizon. Later that evening, to the Chief's surprise, Silver again returns, this time with a voluptuous brunette, more attractive than the blonde. She enters the Lone Ranger's tent and spends the night. The following morning the Indian Chief is again impressed. 'You are indeed a man of many talents, but I will still kill you tomorrow. 'What is your last request?' The Lone Ranger responds, 'I'd like to speak to my horse,.... alone.' The Chief is curious, but he agrees, and Silver is brought to the Lone Ranger's tent. Once they're alone, the Lone Ranger grabs Silver by both ears, looks him square in the eye and says, Listen very carefully for.... the.... last.... time, I said..... 'BRING POSSE'
