Hello there. After days of not blogging I went to Amsterdam, had a great time there and will blog more soon (with a couple of pics).

What a great place! I can't believe it, until about 3pm today I was in Holland. Well it's my birthday today, am creeping towards my 40th fast I tell you, but I don't mind. Age comes to us all and I think we just get more interesting as time goes on, don't you!

Thanks to you all for your kind wishes for my survival of first day back in work.

You will be glad to hear that I survived the journey! I was frozen when I got in tonight though and was straight in the warm soapy bath to defrost my old bones! I didn't have snow to face though foxi I must admit.

Another 3 days in this week, that's all!

And then it's back to early mornings out in the dark and late evenings back in the dark. Sometimes I feel like a mole lol.

Am sure lots of you feel the same way! Even when the Summer comes I only really experience daylight on weekends or if I happen to leave the office lunchtime or for a meeting. That's sad! (actually am surprised I don't have SAD!)

I admit though that my life is not too awful this week, as I am only in work til Thursday. It's my birthday soon so we are having a weekend in lovely Amsterdam.

I've been once before but the people I went with were only really into the cultural part not the sex tourist stuff lol. Think Mr McB and I will go see the darker side of Amsterdam as well as the more cultural stuff

Oh well, as usual I have procrastinated for the last week and now have a big massive pile of ironing I need to do today. I always leave everything until last minute lol, will I ever learn?! Nah.

We're meeting up with some old friends tonight (the non swinging kind before you ask). I haven't seen them together for ages so we're looking forward to bullshitting with them as Mr McB would say.

I am already salivating and have 2 hours before we go to the restaurant. I may drown in my own juices by then!

It's one of my fave Italian restaurants and they serve amazing home made pate and do a wonderful line in Chianti!

Hope you all had good times last night. We had a nice, quiet but pleasant NY! The first day of 2009 and I don't have a hangover! What is wrong with me?

I need to do some new pics soon but now (when I am full of Christmas/New Year accumulated bloat) is not necessarily the best time to get some flattering pics lol!

I found a few I took recently and hadn't posted for now but hope to do some new pics soon (when my bloat decreases). Think I need some new lingerie - but may have to get another drawer emptied for it. I have way way too much! Eh you can never have too much by way of lingerie, what the hell am I talking about?!

Tonight we will be spending a quiet but happy evening at home. For once we don't have to work New Year's Eve and we can chill out with a few beers and some nibbles (yes I said, "nibbles"!).

I had better luck playing the Sims this evening than I did with my Dr Kawashima's Brain Training *shakes fist in his general virtual direction*!

I created a new couple today, they fell in love and had lots of Woohoo (if you play Sims 2 you know what I mean!). I don't usually give them aspirations of romance as they become a pain in the arse and want to shag the world, but today I thought, what the Hell, lets go with it!

Then, bizarrely though I didn't plan it, she came home with someone from work, next thing you know they were friends, next thing you know she has a crush on him, next thing you know they are having Woohoo in the hot tub! (well I did make them do that when I saw they had a crush on each other!)

Then her male partner comes home with someone from work and stops at the front door to talk to this work colleague. They embrace, I click on kiss and weyhey, Bob's your uncle, he's obviously got the hots for his mate! They seemed to go at it for ages!

The funniest thing was that he and his colleague both work as fast food servers (in burger server style outfits). If you were into very specifically gay, fast food porn, this would definitely have got you going.

I never realised my Sims could be so exciting. My burger cooking bi Sim then went to bed, with his female slutty partner and I made them have more Woohoo. I was thinking all the time, bet he still had the horn from kissing his friend

I feel so dirty! LOL!

My brain is older now than it was when I started Brain Training!? Damn you Dr Kawashima!

Had a great piece of spam mail this morning (at least I think it's spam). My spam mail usually asks me if I want bigger boobs (lol), drugs (always!), or to enlarge my manhood (!) so I usually just click on "delete". However I paused to read this one. It said:

"You can visit public pool as you know you have big tool"

So... is this part of a marketing drive spearheaded by the government to recruit more plumbers? Someone knows I have a rather large spanner in my home and feels this could be of benefit to the community, especially if they plan to swim?

Alternatively it could be some weird saying from a plumber's fortune cookie .... or it could be some sort of spy code, not meant for me at all.

I then read the other bit of the message which said ..... "Decorate your body with a huge instrument"

(even Gok Wan has never given that advice I suspect)

Now I am not the owner of a huge instrument (tuba, harp, drum kit etc.) but do have a small tin whistle. I think it is probably not adequate for the purpose. If anyone does have a huge instrument they are willing to lend me so I can decorate my body, please let me know

If I take photos of my body decorated with a huge instrument, would that warrant a new photo category on this site?
