Hello there luvvies, hope you are all well and lovely
Just to let you know what's been going on with me, so here goes.
Firstly the doctors - as you may or may not know I have been having a lot of painful stabbing headaches recently, well they lasted for approx 6 weeks, I have not had any for a couple of weeks now. I went to see my Dr. She is ordering another CT scan for me to see what has changed (if anything) since the last scan. So at the moment I cannot say what these headaches actually are/were or what caused them. She gave me some meds to try when/if they happen again - I just gotta take them as soon as they start. Feel like a guinea pig at the moment - but hey it is something. I'm still having my dizzy spells and my doc has upped my meds on that to help.
Secondly the Dentist. My implants are doing well and hopefully they can be snapped into place in about a month - 6 weeks. My gums have healed up nicely so just waiting for the bone matter in my jaw to recover completely and cement themselves around the Titanium posts I have. I must admit it will be wonderful to be able to chew a steak and eat a raw apple again. One draw back is that the New acrylic teeth do not like sticky things like caramel/Mars Bars/Turkish Delight etc these stick to the teeth - my Dentist suggested putting a light coating of Vaseline on the teeth to prevent the sticking - So woderwick if you are reading this that's a heads up for ya
Thirdly Oral Surgeon. I had oral surgery last Thursday, this was a more worrysome thing to have done than visiting the Dentist as it is the unknown factor. I was a bag of nerves all day and quite emotional - silly me lol.
I had to have a Tumour/Tumor removed - the Oral Surgeon is almost sure that it is a 'Fibro Pappiloma'.
The nursing assistant put a glob of what she called grape flavoured jelly around the surgery site and then I had 3 Novacaine injections at the site. Rocky was then kicked out of the room after the numbness took affect. Then the surgeon proceeded to cut out this Tumour thing, the worst thing was that I could hear the cutting through the grisly/bony tissue. Shut my eyes and think happy thoughts time. When it was over I asked to see it - well it was mine - lol. The nursing assistant showed it to me and I asked is that it? .. It was approx 1/2 inch long and about 1/4 inch wide, looked like a small finger and was cream in colour (I expected it to be the same colour as the gums) . I had either 1 or 2 dissolveable stitches.
I can't chew on the right side of my mouth until the stitches have gone incase I dislodge them.
Juicy thank you for your help
Thanks to all of you that wished me well.
Hugs N Kisses to you all xox
It's nice to have friends
