So I get a phone call one night while I'm out and its my middle daughter: "Dad I'm so disappointed in you" And I'm like so whats new. What in the world did do this time. She says "you have a myspace and its so lame" This is after I have been laughted at by all my kids and thier friends for "your an old person you can't have a myspace". And I have been laughed at by some of my younger soldiers too about this. Jeez am I that old. So my middle daughter taught me how to upload a pic and a background. I guess I am old. Oooo ya and my son told my ex I have hotties on my friends list. Hehehehehe.

Sunday, September 9, 2007, 3:29:37 AM- Time to myself..............................
Every once in a while usually during the hunting season I grab my hunting stuff and drive around the country side mostly thinking and looking for places to hunt (even thoe the gas prices are outragous). Mostly I take the time to think. I never seem to ever get anything on these trips but I see a lot of game. Just like the whitetail buck that I just miss hitting tonight on my drive. Time for bed night all.

Saturday, September 1, 2007, 5:35:46 PM- thankyou shooter.......................And state fair time.........
I don't bring up that I was in Iraq here much cause for one I think people don't care and or I belive it just brings unjust political views and arguing. Thanks for the Poem shooter in your blog and thanks everyone in chat today for your nice words. Like I said in chat I brought some stuff home that I could have left there. that is why I put myself out there for the returning soldiers I know so they have something I didn't have a person they can call. Well enough. I haven't been to the fair sense my 10 year old was born. Been thinking about going but it seeems as the kids have gottin older and busier and that I am seperated no one to go with. We use to live close to it when I was a kid and went everyday. They use to have stock car races than but now its like one day and replaced by concerts. Which are fun also. First kiss I ever had was at the fair on a ride. All the food you can eat and all on a stick. Deep fried cheese curds and pronto pups and minie donuts. Its like a gain wieght time of the year. I like going to the aminal buildings and the school contest buildings. Where my son took second place last year for his clock he built in school. Now machienery hill where use to be tracters as a kid is replace by Auto dealers not the same. But the best memory is the BEER GARDEN woooohoooo god I miss the fair.

Thursday, August 30, 2007, 3:22:52 AM- The trip went well.............................
Even thoe we broke one of the new down riggers. I ended up with a fish for the wall. I caught a 29 1/4 inch Walleye. YAY me. And a 4 1/2 pound Smallmouth Bass. The weather kinda sucked a huge storm went through but at least there was a cool lighting show. The wind was high so we had some big waves to fish in also. And the bell never got rang but we did drink them out of Taquila again. With all the rain we are having here that is not only wipping towns out in the Southeastern part of the state. It got the Allergy season in full swing (which has me grumpy) and now we have mosquitos again.

Sunday, August 19, 2007, 3:58:40 PM- Finnaly going to get the boat out neek weekend...............
We are going up to our 2nd annual Lake of the Woods trip Walleye fishing. Last year the first year there was 15 of us and we caught enough fish to feed all of us 3 nights and take a limit home each. Was fun. The best part was at the bar one of the nights. We drank them out of tequila. Twice. We even had to teach the cute bar tender how to make Margaritas. But after the second time we just started on the Captain Morgan and cokes. There was a bell on the wall with a sign that said "By ringing this bell you buy the whole bar a round". One of the guys looks over and says "I'm ringing that bell". So the drunks that we are thinking that he will buy us a round say "Great go ahead". So he goes over and RING RING RING and we cheer. Well to make a long story short the bell never stopped ringing the whole night and they start handing out drink chips. I wake up in the morning broke wondering how I'm going to pay for the coffee I really need and I reach into my pocket and I have at least 9 chips from the night before. And I know I used a lot of them the night before. That bell must have never stopped ringing. Can't wait for this weekend. . Later all Serg

Saturday, August 18, 2007, 2:28:53 AM- Random memories..........................................
Been thinking a lot lately of things I miss. Been thinking about the past. My grandparents had this beautifull house in NW Minnesota on a lake. This was the center of my hunting and fishing carreer while I was growing up. We use to drive the 3 1/2 hours when I was a kid almost every weekend. I would spend at least a week every summer there too. It was so fun as a kid we had the lake and the forests to roam. there was even a hauted cabin the stories we would tell. I remember we had to mowe the lawn for grandpa and it would take 2 hours on the lawn tractor but we could drive it and it was fun. They had a garden as big as a football field and we had to work in it. I loved picking but planting and weeding not so much. Grandpa's passions were fishing, Hunting, building bird houses, and his steam engines. he built them and ran them all the time. Here is where the football field garden came in. Half of it was Navey Beans which he would run through his home made thatcher. God we ait a lot of Bean soup. The Steam engine was cool thoe he would fire it up and as kids we rode it all over the yard with him. It now is sitting in a museum. The best part of this place was the fishing. And the old pontoon we would catch some of the biggest sunfish and crappies. After Grandma died they sold the house and it forever changed. The new owners add new rooms and buildings. I have only been by the house once in the last 10 years I want to keep the memories. Enough of my boring you of my remembering the past. Hugs all. Serg

Tuesday, August 14, 2007, 2:41:04 AM- Seems like we are making up on rain...................
We didn't have much rain this summer we have been in a drought. Well the last couple of days we have been catching up. A bunch of us up at the military base I was at this last weekend were standing watching the lighting show just before a huge storm went through. Just as I turned to say something to the 1SG we got the flash and boom at the same time. And I said "That one was close". And yes it was the next morning I walked around to the other side of the building and a tree about 50 feet from the building looked like it exploded. I had to drive one of my soldiers home because of a medical reason and we had herd there was a big storm that went through the Twin Cities that knocked all the power out throughout the city. Well there are trees and branches down everywhere. I blogged one time when I was Serg on how I love storms and the power they bring. How I have been in 3 tornados and just think they are awesome. I know nuts. I just feel storms are cool. Something we don't need right now is all the water that is feeding into the Mississippi while the divers are at the bridge doing the recovery process. Thanks for all the comments I have had about my Blog lately. I'm trying to blog for me and not blog about being down. Lately I have been felling more lonely and sadd. I have been trying to us this to get out of the funk. So thanks for the comments in and out of the blog area. Thanks Serg

Wednesday, August 8, 2007, 3:12:42 AM- Friends and fire...........................
One thing I love doing is building a fire in the fire pit and sit in my chair watching the flames. Just sitting there and watching the flames dancing across the logs. Its calming to me. I have always liked watching either being by myself or with company. Every year on the waterfowl hunting openner about 15 friends and thier kids that are old enough go out to western MN to a friends cabin. And every night we build a huge fire (And the adults partake in some adult beverages) and talk about the past year and the past. Its funny how over the years the fish have gottin bigger, and shots have gottin farther, And some of the more bonehead moves of our past have gottin even more bonehead. But every year I love hearing and telling these stories that some are now completly frabricated that can't really remember what really happened. One fire we had in Montana (remember Adult beverages attached) we burnt this huge Cottonwood tree stump. Just to give you sive of this thing it wouldn't fit down into the Pickup box cause it was so wide and I had to sit on the end in the truck so it wouldn't tip out. I can vagely remember using another truck to load it into the truck (hence the beverages). We have this vidio tape of us dancing on this log while it was burning. Which really is another drunkin storie. But its just another memory of times past that I have had lately. Serg is reminissing lately, Hugs all.
