Friday, August 9, 2024, 3:28:57 PM- Personality Types
What personality type is it you most avoid? I have several, like obnoxious, overbearing, or braggart types. But the one I will run from is the Jekyll-Hyde transformation. You?

Tuesday, January 23, 2024, 9:21:54 PM- To Hair or not to ...
Ok, somebody out here in the World of NN Readership please enlighten me: What law of the universe says women have to be denuded of all body hair to be clean, or attractive, or desirable, or sexy? Who wrote that law? Who wrote that we have to have additional elements with which to shame women about being themselves; have to fit one particular image? An NYC friend once told me the "shaven" thing grew from the porn industry, the reaction to a recurring epidemic of body lice. I can't confirm that as the true basis but it does sound reasonable in its context. But that's where it stops. Frankly, I find the cooky-cutter sameness of smoothies to be boring. Hair does not mean unclean. Hair does not mean unattractive. And hair damn sure doesn't mean repulsive. No two growths are the same; each being part of that ♀️ individual uniqueness. Why should she deny her own uniqueness? Hair provides many avenues to create sensation. Why should she deny herself of avenues of sensation? Why should she deny herself at all? I'm directing this at the topic of pubic hair, but it doesn't stop there. She can have that light mustache growth that mortifies her. She can have pit hair and even leg hair, and still be as desirable as she ever was. Her independence. Her uniqueness. Her sensations. What am I missing here?

Wednesday, February 24, 2021, 3:33:14 AM- Flukes
That's what it was this morning, a pure fluke. Scrolling through the Google news feed this morning as usual while having coffee, and there it was. A local pharmacy chain is in the process of administering the Covid vaccination. You're shitting me, right? A Google newsfeed on the internet, and you're going to have a chance in hell of getting one? Right? Right. That's exactly what happened. After having been on five separate waiting lists for weeks and frequent cold calling around, that worldwide internet lead led directly to a same-day 1st vaccination with the 2nd one also scheduled. You couldn't have convinced me I was going to see that shot before late summer at best; then it falls out of nowhere with morning coffee. Oh yeah, that first sighting was about 6:40 a.m. The list was closed out shortly before Noon CST. Purely fluke chance.

Tuesday, February 2, 2021, 4:38:02 AM- FIRSTS
It has been only a few minutes ago that I experienced a whole new first here on NN: A member who does not allow comments on photos after obviously going through some effort to compose therm and whose profile is not viewable. I wonder what the point is of being here at all, especially since all the pictures I saw show full frontal view including face. I guess it is otherwise to easily broken, so to speak. Jus wonder'n.

Having performed thousands of hours of renovations in hospitals and medical offices, I've long believed scrubs are sexy. Sitting here now in the cafeteria after having eyes dilated, passing butts are just fuzz balls

Thursday, December 31, 2020, 9:37:03 PM- OOPS!
Courtesy of radio.com, one of the lead stories on Google News this morning was "First Female Green Beret has First Accidental Discharge". A great melee at all levels of governments and militaries both ally and adversary has ensued. Experts, leaders, and leaders' advisors are rife to know the details of the event and to render an assessment of the event. The primary concerns regard the scope, duration, and source of reported discharge. Tantamount to those initial concerns are also whether this is an isolated event or one that may ripple through all branches. Questions have also been raised as to whether the discharge has only tactical impact, in-theatre impact, or a more broad strategic impact. After all, should all female troops from all sources start discharging simultaneously ....................... No, wait!! Only the first line is for real from this morning. Everything following is my perverse mind running like it knows how to do Happy New Year, Y'all!

Wednesday, December 30, 2020, 8:42:16 PM- Donate
Ya know, despite the time of year and all that has gone on in 2020, I'm not going to go there. As I read through these pages, I can see how thoroughly those topics have been covered and are going to be covered in the next few hours. So I won't go there; instead, I'm going to more of an opinion/input poll. NewbieNudes. Have recently been peppered by a pop-up about organization funding and needed donations to stay afloat. I was undecided at first but -- yeah -- I have. Within this past hour have donated $75.00 US. That was my choice. But I have to wonder. There are so many people who enjoy the personal benefits of this platform, and I wonder what those total numbers are: How many free members, how many other paying members, and how many Premium members? If the total membership were to give just a few dollars each, say $5.00 US, I would think would be a respectable cash infusion. If every member were to give $10.00 each, I would think that would be a considerable piece of income; probably enough to influence operations for the coming year. And I'm equally sure every pair of eyes viewing these pages take away far more than $5 or $10 worth of pleasure from being here. Jus wonder'n, gang; just kind of mentally ruminating. Happy New Year to All & Love Ya, NN!!!

Monday, September 14, 2020, 7:16:56 PM- Changes
Day 13 of sitting in Covid ICU waiting out some lung inflammation to diminish enough for breathing to stabilize. There's Life Pre-Covid and there's Life Post-Covid. I'm quickly learning the two are completely different and completely separate tracks. Cannot return to my Pre-Covid living situation. Medically, doing so is out of the question without taking highly reckless and needless risks. Except, that in the midst of this catastrophe, two completely trusting and dedicated animals get left in the dust. Their human, the third of the pack, their Alpha is just gone. Disappeared. Don't know where, why, or how. Just gone. Walked away. Hate it.

Saturday, March 28, 2020, 3:20:59 PM- Normals
"The new normal" is one of those terms that make me growl whenever I hear or read it, which is way too often and especially now on such a wide scale. We really need to put the "new" in normal into perspective. Our respective normals are new everyday. The current pandemic is a new and wholly unsettling event to all but a handful of us. The last influenza epidemic of the U.S. in the 1900s is the only thing comparable. It was bad. People, governments, and the medical profession were I'll equipped to handle it, like today. And it passed, like today will. And people will again go about the routines of their daily lifes, like they always have. The disruption brought about by the Coronavirus is just that, a disruption. It does not define life. Not what life is or what life will be. We will walk away from this with each of us having greater knowledge of ourselves individually and as a group. We will have rediscovered aspects of ourselves forgotten. Every time a new fashion or style takes hold, we awake to a new normal. Every time a new motto is introduced, a new key person appears or is lost, or a new phone is introduced ....... We awake to a new normal. New is "normal". Let us put this in perspective; this is a disruption to routine and completely normal.

Wednesday, January 1, 2020, 6:17:25 PM- Welcome to the Lou!
New Year eve/morning in St Louis starts with nine shootings resulting in four homicides. So here's the question: If someone is shot at 12:59 p.m Dec 31st and dies at 12:01 of Jan 1sr, are they the last victim of 2019, or the first victim of 2020? Jus wonder'n but, then, this is 'the Lou'. Happy New Year, y'all!!
