I am the Cheshire Cat, bit weird looking, bit weird acting, with a macabre side, I appear, then I disappear. I need to be under adult supervision at all time. I cannnot be left to my own devices.
"GREAT song....and I hear you about it taking on new meaning..."- Claire Monroe
Tuesday, August 14, 2012, 3:32:37 AM- Foreshadowing song
This song haunts me. Whenever something is going to change in my life, good or bad, it appears in my mind. Then I just get ready for whatever happens. And no one should read anything into the foreshadowing. I don't even have a clue. Just something will change in my life. Yes this song started running in my head today. This video version I first saw a long time ago on Public Television (not the SoCal/Central station shown on the video). I will say it can be a bit unsettling at the end to watch. It's funny now, I go thru some of the places this was shot and think how different it all is. Yes Strange Days are upon us.
Monday, August 13, 2012, 10:09:59 PM- You'd think I would figure it out.
Woke up at 3:45am. Pitch black in the bedroom. Notice my clock is off. Shit. Power outage. Go to take a pee and what do I try to do? Well of course turn on the bathroom light. Hey it was really dark in the bathroom. Move ahead to 7:30am. Just finished a call for a job interview. Going to take a shower. Power goes out, again. Yup, I turned around and tried to flip the light on. I said it is really dark in there. Fast forward to 2:40pm. Get home from running some errands. Grabbing something to eat. Oh yea, power goes out. Yes I tried to turn the kitchen light on. You would think I would figure this out. Power goes out, lights no work. This shit keeps up, I'm gonna need to stop giving crap to howlin. Nah............
Was more dehydrated yesterday than I thought. Went for a walk this morning and legs felt like lead. Last time I had heavy legs like that was when I would hit the overtraining point during distance training or getting very dehydrate after a hard race in the summer heat. Think I'll be lazy and chill the rest of the day.
