First time I've had to take my toiletries bag out of my carry-on. SFO, LAX, Seatac, O'Hara, Charlotte, MSP, Miami never. Wichita yes. lol TSA agent looked at it, gave me a long look then said "some of these are over 3 oz". I looked at her and said "nope, even the liquid lube is only 2.5oz". A dirty look from the agent. She took the bottle out of my package then shook her head. "That is awfully big". Before my brain could get in gear the mouth said "that's what she said". Agent gave me another long look then burst out laughing. Ah the fun of air travel.

Was in my backyard and heard a bird flapping in a bush. Looked in, it was a small bird hanging upside down doing its best bat impersonation. I walked away but was curious about it. SO checked again. It was flapping like crazy, like it was stuck. Poor thing had its leg wrapped around a small branch. It was stuck. (not sure how it got in that situation). I reached in, broke the little branch. Bird flew off then landed on the weber. Looked at me, chirped a couple times them flew into the trees. I took that as a thank you. Poor bird was a sitting duck if a hawk heard it flapping. Some days it is the little things that can make you happy.

"one time I was working on my car next to the garage for hours. I went in to eat lunch and when I came back out I found a sparrow hanging dead from a piece of fishing line that got wound around him. Since I am a cheap son of a bitch when it comes to the utility company (I consider PG&E the evil empire), I try to conserve. Over four years ago I went to the cute coiled energy saving bulbs with the funky pink ting to the light. Supposed to last nine years. If the lights are on three hours a day. Well one of the lights in my bedroom died today. Not nine years but the light was on over three hours a day. I had another bulb to replace the burned out one. HOLY SHIT. My bedroom now looks like a cheap diner or a church basement!! The new bulb has an overpowering WHITE lite. I so love being green. NOT!!!
