Dear NN friends,

My head has been hurting, not a headache but more like my brain.
Tomorrow I see the doctor and I'm calm but afraid. I've had a very healthy life up to this point, 56 years old. Saturday I attended a memorial for a 60 y.o. friend who just over a month ago went to the ER with stomach pains and was diagnosed with terminal cancer. They gave him one month and that is what he had almost to the day. I'm not saying of course that this is my worry but it does pray on you that the news could be bad. I am afraid for my wife and kids if something happens to me. Sorry to be babbling here but I am - lol! I wil let you know. Hopefully it will be some damn virus, sinus infection or ? that they can treat with antibiotics or something.
But just in case, thank you everyone - it's been fun!

If it makes you feel good, the brain as an organ of the human body does not feel pain.... lots of times sergins operate on the brain while the patient is semi conscious? you tough as old boot leather .. :)

I feel for you my friend and know exactly what you are going thru. It sucks to get old when you never know if your next pain is the message from the big guy. Heres to hope that you are correct and it is nothing major. I'm not on here much any longer but pm with the results and we can catch up.

Well,my blood pressure is up again so steps are being taken to lower it but I wil also have a MRI done asap just in case, aneurysm, etc. Dr. was not too worried. Thanks again everyone for your thoughts. xxx
