clittylicker's blog post - Reasons for pic deletion

Sunday, July 9, 2017, 12:10:13 AM
To those members repeatedly asking in Status why mods don't PM them with reasons for their pics being deleted.

A member recently copied a pic from another member, reversed it and posted it as his own. I was alerted to this by the member who actually owned the pic and so I deleted the copied/stolen version.

I then sent the "offender" the following PM explaining what had happened:

"clittylicker said...

Hi,

You have just had a pic deleted because it was stolen from another member. You have also had pics and vids deleted because they were web pics and/or of poor quality.

Please read and comply with the posting rules and your OWN pics will be welcomed on NN. "

I received the following reply:

Happy 20th loser dam that cock of yours is crap no wonder you don't have a woman in your life sad little man. "

Before I had the chance to reply with the fact that I have been happily married for more than 20 years and that anyway, "having a woman in my life" has absolutely nothing to do with him copying other members' pics, he had deleted his account.

This is a prime example of why mods DON"T PM people to explain rules that they should already have read and understood before posting.

What a moron. People would rather blame someone else for their problems / issues than take responsibility for themselves

The reason mods are NOT required to explain their actions is because they are members too and should not have their NN experience sullied by idiots.
Having said that if you have a complaint we are fully accountable and you may contact NN.

unfortunately the people breaking rules are the last to read them
and never listen to mods or other members saying read rules or ask live help
they (and a few old stubborn members) keep saying an explanation should be in order *sigh*

It's why the message should auto-generated and not from an individual mod.

Unacceptable response, no question. As to mod messages,I'm with Dubble. But I also don't understand the rush to criticise, patronise and shut down dialogue when members politely ask a valid question, where there is current onsite content that appears in contravention of 'the answer you'd already know if you read the rules', or 'asked it in the right place' or tell simply invite you to 'leave it alone and move on' etc etc..
