We're leaving early before the sun rises! This is a trip I don't want to take but it's something that's required. So I'll try to make he best of it! Maybe I'll enjoy a little R&R.

Today was a reality check for me. My life seems to be at a very low point when only last week I was on top of the world. How can your moods swing so far so quickly. Last week I felt like I was loved and now it feels like history. Of course I know it's only temporary and thing will look brighter in a few days.

When you're no longer the focus of one's desires it'll turn your mind inside out. It seems quite selfish when you think about it as from a third part perspective. However, it all seems so real when you become the sole set of eyes and feelings. How do you make the hurt go away?

Tuesday, August 30, 2011, 11:40:20 PM- What a week!

It's only Tuesday yet I feel like I've been chewed up and spit out. Work has been seriously crazy and there's no way I can get it all done. I'm taking Friday to drive north to the in-laws house over the weekend with my wife. While I need the break being there isn't where I'd rather be.

My birthday seemed to last forever this year. It was actually Friday but today was the final event.... Sunday Brunch high on top of a downtown hotel featuring a revolving restaurant. We were there by 10:30 and by noon I knew I had drank too much. Drinking before noon is always a blast! Then I got the bill. What the hell... it was worth it!

Saturday, August 27, 2011, 2:10:39 PM- Birthday Present

Everyone wanted to know what my birthday present was that I accidentally found earlier in the week. It was a wireless HP All-In-One Photo printer. I have to give credit for thinking of this. Sweet Present!

Ever since I got my new computer running Windows 7 64 bit system I could never run my scanner. I do scan a number of documents and old photos. I could use my laptop but that was a pain since I rarely crank it up.

This HP printers use all sizes of paper and has a dock for my iPhone. Not sure if printing pictures taken with it would worth the trouble but I can. Hopefully I'll get this bad boy installed by noon today. Wireless devices can be tricky because I tend NOT to read the instructions properly. I'll let you know hot it goes.

Last year I was depressed about getting older. This year was completely different! My Facebook page was slammed full. People were calling me. At work I even got ice cream!

So I'm 59! Feeling good!

I've got a birthday coming up this Friday & my wife bought my present a few days ago. I was putting away somethings in the guest room closet and there it was just sitting on the floor. We use that closet almost like storage room since it's huge. There it was in plain sight like I wouldn't accidentally see it.

I would never tell her I found it. But today it was gone so she finally woke up and decided she better find a better place for it. Let's hope I can act really surprised when open it. I'll have to admit it's pretty nice. But it'll be our secret.
