Our company is going to be implementing a new computer system before the end of the year. For the past three days I've been in meetings learning how all this is going to happen. There are so many sub systems we have to design it's going to be completely crazy. Right now I'm a little overwhelmed!

My wife is driving home with our grandkids ages 2 yrs and the other almost 8 months. It seems we are babysitting all weekend because their mom is sick!

Thursday, July 28, 2011, 1:56:37 AM- I felt the need for exercise!

I drove the car into the driveway and knew I better water everything because the temperature been around 100 for over a week. After about 30 minutes setting the sprinklers I was already soaking wet with sweat. As long as I'm already nasty I might as well get in 10 miles on my bike.

Let me say the idea was better than actually doing it. When I got back to the house I felt a bit over heated. How fast can I drink fluids? Not fast enough or should I say soon enough. I've got to remember I'm not twenty something anymore but at least I got there and did it!

Dinner's done and now I'm chilling. My vacation at home is coming to an end because my wife is returning tomorrow. While it'll nice to see her I did like my life style while she was away.

I had to baby sit the cable guy at my daughter's place so they could go to the ball game tonight. Got home, grilled a little something for dinner and then.... nothing! I need something to do!

Sunday, July 24, 2011, 5:03:18 PM- Feeling Good On Sunday

By the time I got home last night there was zero gas left in the tank. Today is different. Maybe because I slept til 8:00 which is truly late for me. Made coffee and a decent breakfast for a change too!

By 9:00 I was checking off items on my "to do" list. Was this really me. Usually I'm such a slug on Sunday mornings. I did watch the end of the Tour de France so it wasn't all work. The house is clean and got my grocery shopping list in hand ready to enter the heat of the day.

Yesterday, I was driving along and noticed the ambient temperature outside was 102! That's just not right! Well, got to get going!~ I've invited my daughter & son in law over for dinner. I'm no chef but I can handle hamburgers, corn on the cob and potato salad. They just really want to run a few loads of laundry and watch TV. Their cable hasn't been installed yet!

It's OK... I like being used!

The work week is over so I decided to get the lawn mowing out of the way even though the temperature was in the upper 90's. I definitely felt it by the time I was finished.

Dinner was as easy as warming up leftovers from the freezer. The wife still doesn't have a scheduled return date. Looks to be maybe another 5-6 days. I sort of like having the house to myself. Eating diner in front of the TV works for me!

Thursdays have become my Mexican dinner night. My son in law & I always go to the same place and chow down. We're getting to be pretty good buddies after all this time. He's a nice enough guy!

Last night was the first night alone in the house in a while. It didn't take before my clothes were tossed to one side and found myself stroking it until I shot a load! It felt so good I did it again a hour later!

My wife is out of town on her own vacation with my daughter. I was looking forward to a quiet empty house but them my son in law decided he needed to borrow a tool... just before dinner. Oh could I not invite him to stay? We grilled some chicken on the grill and talked for a few hours. He finally left to go back to his new apartment. But we did agree to meet for dinner tomorrow night.. my treat of course.
