The afternoon is done & we're back home having hitting 3 different winery's. It's so weird going out drinking with your daughter but she's so funny!!

We had planned to just go this a mother's day brunch. But they a band playing and the views were nice. What can I say.. we just stayed and chilled and drank. Heading out we only went about 2 miles when we drove past another winery so we pulled in and stayed another hour. Just one more to go. Now I need a nap!

But we can't rest to long. In a little while we're leaving for the concert. Tickets I bought my wife back for Valentines day. It might be boring to a lot of you but we're seeing James Taylor. This is where I should mention we've actually got good seats too!

I've finishing staining the fence in the backyard! It doesn't look much different but I did get some satisfaction knowing it's completed. Now we're getting ready to walk into town for dinner. It's about time.. I'm getting hungry for whatever!

Tomorrow is mother's Day and my daughter & I are taking her mother out to a winery for brunch!

Every since my wife got home my life is like walking on egg shells. No fighting, no yelling. Just a lot of nothing! At times it feels like we're moving forward but those steps are so small it's difficult to even measure the distance.

Meanwhile I'm not not dead..

I'll try to log on more often. I DO miss all the good stuff on NN>

Tuesday, May 5, 2009, 3:16:19 AM- Free time is coming to an end

I've really enjoyed the past 5 days while my wife was in New York on her vacation visiting my ex-sister in law. (That sounds strange but they always got along like they were long lost friends.)

She gets back into town and my long bachelor weekend will come to an end. But the house is clean, laundry done and I even mowed the lawn after work today. We needed his time apart and hopefully things will get back to a regular routine soon.

I do did the structure when she's around otherwise I'd never get enough sleep or eat good decent meals. But unlike some guys I did wash and change the sheets on Sunday. When I do get into bed the feeling of clean sheets are wonderful!

All good things have to come to an end I suppose. Tomorrow is Monday and that means back to work.

I got it all this weekend! And that means I got it all. Lots of private time alone and not so alone. Mmmm but I never played my guitar once. However, I did do just about everything else and more!

I even had my "man moment". You might think you know what that might be, and yes, that too! But for me it's brief moment when your brain recognizes that you've got this incredible rigid hard on and your about to be blessed with all the attention it can take. Nothing's happened yet but you just feel it's about to take place.

The chemicals in your brain are released and rushes throughout your body in a wild surge. Maybe you guys can explain it to the women better than I can. But all I know is you feel alive!

Sometimes when you wish for something.. you get it! I just wanted to have some peace and quiet around the house for the weekend. This house is mighty quiet.

Even though a little rain falls from time to time I can still hear the birds singing outside all the open windows as the evening darkness begins to cover us for another day. Hmmm... what's for dinner? I have not a single clue.

Having the house is nice for a while. Wonder how long I can enjoy it?
