Hey all...been awhile since I blogged. Today I was over at my mom's helping her do some things to the house. When I find a tape recorder,ya know the kind, small micro tapes...well anyways I hit play and like a bolt of lightning I hear my Dad's voice.OMG...hit me like a ton of bricks....its only been less than 3 weeks and I been doing great ...then suddenly I hear his voice as he is saying into it how he "cant figure out this damn thing, have to have a college education to figure this shit out"...he never was technically blessed lol My mom heard it and immediately teared up and started crying...I fely saddened and happy at this amazing turn of events. To hear him again was a blessing!!!! Anyways ,still working on getting my mom's house in order.I am trying to make it look a little less like Dad just left awhile ago to the store.I think that will help her move on some.I dont want to take him out of the house, just ease up his presence in it to the extent that ya think he will walk around the corner any minute. Hope everyone is happy and satisfied till we chat again my friends....hugs and kissses xoxoxooxoxooxoxoxooxoxoox

What a week of total oppisites this has been!! A huge loss at the begining of the week, and my daughter gets married at the end of the week.Like the cycle of life thing coming in and showing itself before me in dramatic fashion.I don't know how I made it but like everything else in life,I did. The wedding was beautiful. She didnt let anyone(except those that helped her)see her before she walked into the room.I was the first one to see her and my breathe was taken away. There was my babygirl.Sweet, nervous, and beautiful. She walked to the middle of the aisle and her step dad and I each took one of her arms( I was on her right arm) and we walked her down the aisle. She was barely breatheing, shaking, and messing up her steps ALOT.So at the end of the aisle I squeezed her arm a little with my hand to let her know I loved her and I whisphered ....breathe baby...I don't think she could after that anyways LOL.The rest of the ceremony was pretty much normal in way of vows. Her hands were shaking sooooo much when she was putting the ring on his finger OMG.As soon as she was introduced to the attending people as the Mrs. a look went over her face like ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh. I stood at the back of the room with her and her husband and greeted people. They went through the customary wedding events(i.e. cutting cake, toasting champagne, etc.) then reception immediately followed. She had her first dance with her husband. Then it was her and my turn to dance. We chose a song called"Once in a Million Years"-by Blackmores Night. And for the length of the song the entire world disappeared. It was just her and I talking and danceing, laughing, hugging. It was a sweet special moment that I am so happy to have experienced.tears well up in my eyes thinking on it now I wore my Dad's pocket watch to the wedding. He wore it to every special event that happened to the family. It has a engraveing of a semi-truck on it(since he was a truck driver). So he was there physically by that...but spiritually he was there too..I KNOW it!! My daughter also had a penny in her pocket for good luck.A tradition I never heard of ,but was told it goes way back.I had asked her to wear a string tied to her wrist for luck and she said she would till her mother told her to do the penny thing.AH well ,thats one reason why I am not married to her mother now....always butting in LOL.But to the one who told me to have the string...she still had some good luck on !!! That is all for now. Remember...To the world you may be but one person, but to one person you may be the World!!!
