i had a patient today.. he was really cool... he was really cute...he was HIV positive...blew me away how my co-workers were... as if he had the bubonic plague... whatever the fuck that is..i just want to know... isn't it common knowledge that hep is way more contagious then aids?? why treat them any different ... sure take universal precautions.. but that should be done with all patients...i personally think he should be commended for letting us know of his condition (which btw is good)... think of all the ones that don't tell us the real deal...

hope you all had a happy saturday ... i did i got to chat with twl... mwa jacquie

You know Sis, the very first time my good friend Cindy announced to me she had AIDS....everyone just stood back, even some of her family members. I was the only one to hug her and tell her I loved her.

This was 7 years ago now. And I still hug her to this day.

Ignorance hurts more than just the person it's aimed at. *sigh*

I have a friend William. He is Dutch and he lives in my village. He is gay and is HIV positive. Only I and a very few close friends know this. We know that the villagers would be very wary of him otherwise. Simply through ignorance, not any malice. He makes sure that his blood comes into contact with no one and fingers crossed he is ok at the moment. I hug him always.

Hugs babe, and have a great weekend xxxxx
