Just so there's no confusion:

Before I ask my questions, I want those bloggers to know that this is not an attack, which, having said that will have some of you upset any way. So, here goes it:

If all someone posts on a blog is just videos with no text, is it indeed a blog? Shouldn't those video only postings be called a vlog?

Not that I'm complaining, mind you, I've seen some interesting videos and listened to some nice songs I might not have heard otherwise.

I'm just asking out of curiosity, seeking a definition of terms, you might say.

Which leads me to my last question:

If there are two different genre's, shouldn't there then be another category listed for one to post, so there's no confusion?

Food (and that might be another classification as well) for thought.

Have you ever had Deja Vu? That's the sensation that you've done something before. My late Mother said that she thought it came from your dreams, i.e. that you've dreamed it, just don't remember it.

I had a spooky one at Walmart Saturday:

I'm standing in a checkout line, when I notice the woman ahead of me is looking at snacks displayed all around the lane. I made a flippant remark about not caving in to impulse buying. She said she was actually trying to find Blue Diamond blueberry-coated almonds, which are apparently hard to find.

She said she was visiting her children at the local university. She is from North Carolina, which I figured from her accent. Then we gave each other that look - we had done this before.

Both of us shook our heads and smiled. Who knows? She paid for her items, said goodbye and walked away. As the cashier was ringing up my items, I looked at her walking away. She looked back, smiled and shook her head, then walked on.

Spooky.

Some people love it, some people hate it.

I am on Facebook for one reason. I'm 66 years old and it helps me keep in contact with old friends (male and female) that I've known throughout my life, but who no longer live close enough to visit.

Yesterday I read a posting from a guy I grew up with who is a life long Cincinnati Reds baseball fan, about how poorly the Reds are starting out this year. I was encouraging in my comment, but then someone I do not know made a snarky remark that, since I am no longer a Reds fan, that I am not a fan because I've switched my support to a team other than the Reds. He accused me of just watching a team because they are winning.

I wrote back that I've known my friend for almost 60 years, that I don't know him from Adam and that he should not be judging me.

I'll check tomorrow to see if this gentleman has anything else snarky to say.

If he does, would it be too forward to suggest a pistol duel at dawn?

Spring has come to Indiana. Temps are about normal now, with highs in the 50's to 60's. Highs Saturday and Sunday are predicted to be in the low 70's!

Time to put away the flannel sheets (fingers crossed).
