it's pouring, and it is supposed to all day. I don't mind at all. Yesterday I got all my running around done so today I really don't have anything that HAS to be done. I think I am going to make a big ol pot of veggie soup, pull out my book and blanket and just enjoy it.

would we be without digi cams? You just have to love the cheap "film", it enables us to take an unlimited number of pics of anything that we can imagine, from the serious to the totally silly. This afternoon vb and I were a lil silly comparing our messy garages

On the serious side I finally satisfied my craving (well one of them but the others are for a different blog)

I didn't include the various dips so you can choose your favourites.

is going on? I have been craving appetizers, all kinds for weeks now. I want a plate with 2 of those 3 of these, a small ceasar salad etc...
So today I started cooking.
Deep fried mushrooms made and sampled.
Potato wedges made and sampled.
More potatoes in the oven as we speak to make potato skins.
Ceasar salad ingredients in the fridge ready to go.
God knows what else I might think up!
Gonna nibble my way through Sunday and get this damn craving over with!!

3 silent lake - clear, quiet, clean

I never really thought of sex as being quiet or clean, but what do i know?

but surely things are starting to fall into place. My clothes have grown (perhaps I have shrunk some) and I no longer need blood pressure meds, health is getting better.
What I thought was an ideal placement for my son this fall ended up not being so great, but the placement I had been working towards for the last 3 years came to pass today! I am super happy and excited about that.
Small positive changes are starting to really add up. I am becoming more and more hopeful about the future.

I was wide awake at 5 this morning and got out of bed before 6. The kids were both gone by 830 am its now just after noon and I have done laundry, been out and even have dinner ready to go. There might be something to this getting up early thing after all.

time to get back into one. During the summer about the only routine thing we do is eat dinner. Tomorrow morning at 7 am all that will change. A new school year and a new routine.
I am going to be stuggling with the early wake up call since I tend to be more of a night person.
Hoping to get to sleep at a reasonable hour.

the kitchen is warm and so is the pie. Chilly rainy days always make me want to cook and today was no exception. I made a big pot of soup and a peach pie.
Have a piece, it is really yummy and has 0 calories I promise
