| Thursday, August 17, 2006, 5:50:10 AM- the bedroom voice | ||||||
Make me desire you not with your words but with your tone. Your voice seduces me as swiftly and as easily as any touch. Random rambling in itself is foreplay because there is desire in your voice which I cannot help but respond to. That private but not at all hidden affection. The teasing, deep laughter and sheer silliness that comes with a close connection which makes me want to respond with a kiss, each word a loving caress. A look an understanding, an appreciation of that which we share. A word becomes a touch, a caress, a breath, a connection. Words become gasps well understood for the pleasure they convey. Touch over comes language, and become sounds, gasps, and yet still fully understood. Cries of joy are intimately joined with touch, the incoherent becomes coherent but words are not at all needed, a simple stroke, a kiss, a soft sigh. A "hello" with a well knowing smirk because of what we have shared. needing ju

the flood I had a few months ago. At the time the main goal was cleaning up the mess, yes there were many things that just had to go right away, and those weren't things with any emotional attachment. However the one thing I had been unable to deal with until today was the kids bookshelf, the books had all been removed and set on the work bench to dry as best they could, but I knew many of them where beyond saving. Today I finally got the courage to go through them with the help of the kids. We lost approximately 1/3 of their books. Some of these books had no real value, many more however, had much value. There were books that I literally spent hours, days and in some cases months reading to them. I am sure I could still recite them word for word. Other books were gifts with birthday and christmas wishes written on the inside cover, some of these messages from people that are no longer in this life with us. We are very fortunate that we lost so little, many more have lost much more, but it is a huge loss all the same. feeling like a bookworm without a book, Ju

in the mists of time I was a non poster. After being on NN for about a year I finally got a cam, but didnt know if I wanted to post or not. I kinda liked being the NN mystery woman. One night after a few beers, well maybe lots of beer, I was feeling well a lil goofy to say the least and decided I was going to finally post. What i posted was a pic of my feet with socks on. (yup silly as hell but it was fun). I then got rather daring and took the socks off , GASP! That is how I started my career as an exhibitionist on NN. Tonight in honour of the memory of the beginning of my posting days I am posting a pic of of my feet once again. Still laughing about how many people posted their feet all in the name of fun after my first pics, Ju

Yesterday my cousin who I hadn't seen in many months stopped by. We got caught up on each others lives, and to say the least he was a lil suprised at what has been going on here. He is on holidays this week and offered me his car for a few days. Of course I jumped at the opportunity for some freedom. This afternoon he came by to give me the car and we went back to his place. We really enjoyed ourselves and got further caught up. Eventually the kids and I decided that it was time to go. We had plans to stop at home grab the cam and head to a bit of the oh so hard to find untamed bit of lakeshore here. We got 3/4ths of the way there to find that the road we needed to get to this bit of lakefront was closed due to construction. U turn and we were on our way home. All was not lost however, we found a farmer selling corn, the first of the season out of the back of his pick up truck on the side of the road. DAMN it was good! The best I have had in a few years. Smiling and flossing, ju

was pretty awesome! A friend I hadn't seen since she moved away 5 years ago stopped by for a visit. She has recently moved back into the area which is wonderful news. The kids were very glad to see her, we were all hugging and saying how much we missed each other. Im looking forward to seeing more of her and seeing her kids, who weren't with her today. Seeing her brought back many happy memories ![]() Yesterday I got my new shirt from strawberry, I LOVE it!! ![]() Thanks again straw! mwah!

the correct place to put this but i dont want it lost in pm land and neither do I want to start a forum thread, so here it will sit for now. I certainly don't profess to speak for all or for any other than myself actually, but I feel it is time. For the past year and more I have been promised many improvements to the site. I have been patient, supportive and more than understanding for the most part. However as a LIFE member I don't feel that I have been given anything that was promised for the future and in fact have been told repeatedly that the majority rules, excuse me, but, the majority did not sign up and contribute to this site in any way back when that was asked for. Yes I understand that site performance is a huge issue, but have you considered the other things that have been asked for? They seem easy enough for those of us that don't know about running a site, however toss those of us that have signed up for the long haul a few bones to keep us happy. Make most recently updated blog list 100 long rather than 50, Put the reply button in the forum at the bottom of the page to make it easier to reply to messages, I am sure others could add to this list ad naseum. My point is I am not the majority but I am supportive and understanding and in that respect I deserve some respect and acknowledgement too. Perhaps I would not be missed if I left, certainly not in an economic sense, you have my $ it's long gone in the grand scheme of things. What I am asking for is not to be lumped in with the majority, I am not, I am in a very small group of life time members and expect to be treated with some privilage, after all that is what you promised when I signed up. A weary, ju

| Sunday, August 6, 2006, 7:51:49 PM- Well I'm back | ||||||
online. My connection went last night at about-10 10:30, so I immediately got on the phone to my isp. After an hr of fiddling with the router etc she finally admitted that I wasn't connected because of an outtage in this area code that would last about 24 hrs. So off i went to bed hoping for the best this morning. No such luck so i left it for a few hours and decided to call again to see when I could expect to be back online. I was told that they couldn't give me a time, even a rough guess I was however glad I made the second call because about an hour later I got a call from a supervisor looking for more information. He had record of this mornings call but not last nights. Apparently this was a scheduled outtage that was to last 2 hours to repair the damage caused by Wednesdays storms, However the brainless tech I had on the phone last night reconfigured my router so that when the internet came back on it couldnt access it. In less than five mins he had gone into my modem and reconfigured it and I was finally back online.Thanks Lenny for letting everyone know what was going on. Wondering why they let idiots answer the phone, ju

| Thursday, August 3, 2006, 2:45:12 AM- A trip down memory lane | ||||||
with an incredible light and sound show. The oppressive heat made a big fight leaving me tonight. It was a powerful storm lots of rain, wind and lightening, at least one confirmed tornado and a trip down memory lane. During this huge storm the kids and I decided to have a look at old photo albums. Lots of laughter and "oooooooh I had a cute bum" comments. Enjoying the fury the fun and the calm that a great change can bring, ju
