If you keep up with her blogs you maybe wondering a bit about my emotional involvement with her latest blogs. Quite simple really, dawn and I are friends, very good friends. Along the way we have discovered many things we share as life experiences. One such example is her skating, my ballet. The slight differences matter little. The joy and pain in sharing the experience of achieving or attempting to achieve physical perfection is something that is not understood by the majority.
Dawn captured the essence of that attempt towards perfection in her blog, something that I had buried many years ago. It was truely wonderful to have that memory revived and to be reminded of how I came to be who I am today.
A sincere and very heartfelt thank you to a very special woman in my life.

found yourself in a really foul mood? You know you are being illogical, but that just adds fuel to it? You want to get out of it but in some perverse way you are enjoying it too?

After several days of brutal heat and humidity we, had a huge storm last night, the wind and was incredible, there are small branches down all over the place. It has cooled down to a lovely 22c with a nice breeze. The first thing I did when i got up this morning was turn off the a/c and open all the windows.

I blogged about inertia (and accidentally removed it grrr). I have however come to realize that I haven't been quite as inert as I thought. I may not be getting the tangible things I want to get accomplished going yet but boy have I come a long way with the intangibles.

I have had a craving for onion rings for a few days now but haven't wanted to make a mess making them. Well the craving went on long enough! Today was the day.
