here is my personal summary of the attributes a penis can have...
Ladies, what are your preferences??
Length… simple, how long is it when erect as measured from the top. Average is somewhere in the 5.5” to 6” range. They say most men are between 5 and 7 inches. Some are shorter, some are longer. I think most women prefer at least average, with many being appreciative of a little above average. I think when it gets longer than 8” many women get wary about sex being painful from getting their cervix pounded. Less than 4” and it starts to get less fulfilling unless it has the next attribute- girth.
Girth… how big around is it, its thickness. Average is close to 5” around in circumference. If there is one attribute mentioned most often by women for its importance, it is girth! Girth provides friction, stretching and that sensation of being “full”. Again, I think most women prefer at least average and as the thickness increases to 5.5” to 6” around many women are very appreciative! Once it gets above 6.5” around it takes more foreplay, care and lubrication to make it comfortable vaginally. Oral gets very difficult and anal is for the most adventurous and experienced. Overall, girth is good!
Thin penises have less going for them. The harshest comments often given to a man’s penis are terms like “needle prick” or “pencil dick”! Once it gets below 4.5” in girth it is more difficult to feel the “fullness” from penetration. A man has to be very hard when erect and use it more expertly to find and stimulate a woman’s pleasure spots if he is thin otherwise there is much less stimulation from a thin shaft.
Shape… There can be lots of variations here- very straight and uniform in thickness, tapered to a thicker base, curves in many directions. An upward curve is most common and is often mentioned by women as a great shape to stimulate the G-spot. There is less information I have heard about any preferences by women. It is more an issue with the visual aesthetics of a penis.
Head size… this could also be lumped in with shape but I break it out on its own as it is a prominent feature on its own merit. Some heads are very prominent and are the thickest point on a man’s penis. Some are much less distinct and blend in with the shaft with a very minimal ridge, this is more common on thicker shafts. Some are even smaller in size in diameter than the rest of the penis, more common on tapered penises. I feel women may have individual preferences to head size. Some like and can feel a prominent head flare, but overall it has less to do with how a penis performs physically to a woman and again a matter of aesthetics.
Hardness… this is an important attribute for a penis when it comes to intercourse. A harder penis will be felt more by a woman no matter its size. It is much more important for men who are smaller especially in girth. Without a firm penis it is difficult to put pressure against the walls and pleasure spots. Really big and thick erections can sometimes do it with size alone but for most it needs to be hard! Women like a really hard cock! Its lets them know you are turned on by them and it gives the most stimulation. They can ride it and work they angle of attack to put the pressure where they need and feel it most.
