It is 14 deg celsius outside and dropping to 9 tonight, God, I feel like a fucking ice block, I have the electric blanket on and the air con is going full blast. My wife has put a pot of soup on and I will have a bowl of pig soup before I go to bed. I always remember mum used to make soup out of bacon bones, soup mix and veges, it used to be thick and yummy. It is now midnight and we have just got home from a Toastmasters Dinner. I spoke to an nn friend that I feel comfortable confiding in before I left and it really pecked me up a lot. I often say that friends are everywhere, but good friends are hard to find. She is such a friend, one that I can say the most personal things to, things I wouldn't discuss with my wife and she is rock solid gold to me.
