I woke up this morning to rain on our iron roof and there is no sweeter sound especially when you can lie in bed and hopefully root your arse off with your partner; well our days of doing that are long gone, and I had to have a blood test at 10am re the Warfarin so it has been a long day and the good news is I have pig soup and toast for dinner tonight. Soup made on veges, soup mix and bacon bones is my second favorite soup. My absolute number one is clam chowder which I last had in San Francisco in 2000 so it is a long time between plates of my favourite soup. I tried to make some with crab sticks and that bright red fish stick crap, but I thickened it with arrowroot as the recipe said and it went lumpy. Anyone here any good at making clam chowder? send me a recipe and I will kiss you ( well I can kiss Charlotte and Naughty Bubble) Thanks
