I mentioned in a few blogs ago that I don't write blogs with the intent of specifically getting down on people. But that position is being seriously tested right now. I only hope that the management of this site take the review of this posting needs to be removed seriously. Firstly, politics should not be a topic in here. There are plenty of blog sites for that. Someone, some non thinking, single celled grey mattered slob has posted an image that any person (except for those fellow fools who support it) would find dispicable. I'm not even a Republican and I find them to be vile and below the classification of 'poor taste'. I'm not going to mention this person by name. To do so would be giving this idiot credit. If postings like this continue I am without hesitation definately leaving this site (not that I would be missed)

It is a good thing the team I support didn't need to rely on the Bears beating the Pack. But fortunately they didn't and they will be playing the Eagles in the first round.

It isn't very often that I get comments on my blogs. The few I do, with rare exception, are very much appreciated. As is customary for blogs a greater percentage (to what ever level or following that is just view rather than leave comments. But recently I received a pm requesting that I desist in writing about certain things. That struck me funny because I have, nor will I ever mention (with very rare exception and only in reference to a particular blog by someone else) mention anyone by name. I certainly do not nor will ever speak specifically in a negative tone about anyone. Maybe someone tried one of my recipes and it didn't come out well. Well if that is the case I'm sorry about that but hey, that is a personal thing. Maybe someone didn't like my Christmas wishes or reference as to why the non materialistic aspect of Christmas is the more important. I have only spoken in positive terms. No suggestions, no references, no nuthin. Sooooooooo, this person apparently doesn't know me well because if they did then they would have understood that telling me NOT to do something or DESIST when I have not done anything wrong will only make me prone to continue. Also one other to the core question here is.....if you don't like what I write then .....why are you reading it? Just change the channel...ignore me, please...but don't ever tell me what not to do.

Tuesday, December 19, 2006, 5:52:45 PM- Life Gifts
Let's put aside the materialistic aspect of the holidays and stop to consider life's gifts, both given and received throughout this past year. These are mine and they are lasting. 1) Someone, so very dear and rare touched my heart in a way that no other could do so. This person is so cherished and adored. She filled voids I never thought would be filled. She openned areas of my heart that I never knew existed. I could go on and on but will not burden you with it. 2) I have been known to ask people a question for which there is no wrong answer as it is individualized. The gist of the question is this: If you were to commit to memory a book that you would relate orally to others so it is never forgotten, what book would that be? So now you are asking what does this have to do with life gifts. Well someone I asked that question to...months after asking the question to them gave me a gift of that book. No one else ever had before. It was a gift for my soul and that is why it is a life gift. 3) For 20 years I loved photography and would often take day trips just to scout out an area or to shoot whatever I crossed by chance. Because of the voids I got away from that and because of the experiences of numbers 1 and 2 I am getting back into it. Only a few have seen my photography of chuch interiors, of parks, of nature; landscapes, seascapes, skies, animals, floral and of people. The choice is yours to never stop learing, to never stop embracing life. To realizing your innerself and growing is an unbelievably beautiful life gift. Tipping my stetson in recognition of and respect for the never ending gifts of life. My life and world has been changed forever, thank you for that gift.
