Gift PremiumOdd yet delightfully intriguing. Morbid yet very very sweet. Sarcasm is part of who I am.....deal with it.

Tonight's book-n-bed is: The Marquis De Sade. What an interesting and intriguing individual. Devilish and Conniving as well. He was imprisoned by the very courts of men who practiced the sexual conquests they said were immoral.

Criminal Minds: Criminology and Victimology Predator and Prey. I am taking the refresher course on this subject. We have to update our knowledge on it every year. It's all about how the personalities of each side of the coin changes or gets modified before, during and after an assault or sexual assault. The behavioral health of a criminal is shaky already but what about the victim? The result of an attack can possibly change or will alter ones perceptions and personalities. The criminal already has behavioral health issues. Those behavioral issues can run quite a wide gambit. The victims behavioral health is touch and go and cannot be 100% detailed or profiled. Each vic is different. When I first started my road into Criminal Justice, my professor told us that much like a fireman is a closet pyromaniac, those entering law enforcement are criminals in their own right because they have to eventually think like one. Veeeeeeeery interesting class. Lovin it!!

Thursday, June 27, 2013, 4:56:46 AM- What an honour!!
A few weeks ago I was asked to mat and frame one of my photographs so it can be presented to a Colonel at the Ball. That was awesome! (see blog a page over) Anyhoo, last Monday, the department requisitioned another one of my photographs for an officer retiring on Friday. This was a rush job, so for the last few days I have been on air snapping pics to set the perfect mood in which I could portray Monterey. I even fell on some slippery rocks and bruised my leg while taking pics in the fog....lol. A mere inconvenience for the honour of my love for photography. People are now paying for my photography and I am now a professional photographer! I am so freaking thrilled! I submitted 2 photos for the choosing. Here in my area, the days are either really sunny or really foggy. They wanted the Monterey Wharf, because it is the focal point around here. This was the foggy print that they chose. I have cut the mat and will frame it tomorrow. This was the other photo. It shows the Monterey Mountains, the bay and the wharf. Although both pics show the beauty of the wharf, the serene fog surrounding the wharf is the dreamy sight I see continuously. I am so so very proud at the moment! I have given my photos away as gifts over the years, but now.....no more amatuer photography......lol. I am a professional one.....wooooooooohooooooooo!

Tuesday, June 25, 2013, 8:13:55 PM- IT'S ME ...IT'S ME....okay! All ME!
I have been asked to provide another photograph for a gift to one of the officers. He is retiring and the command wants to me to provide a dock or wharf photo to frame. We drove over to the wharf to get a few shots and as I was walking around I knelt down on the corner of the wharf to get a good shot. Well, when I knelt down....I didn't notice some fish guts on the edge of the wood. Of course my knee got wet and what do you think happened? Yuppers.......I was blessed with the odor of dead fish. I didn't think it was so bad smelling, but when we got back to the office.... BAM! It hit me in the face. A few minutes later people are saying "What is that smell?" Every few seconds, as people and officers were walking in "What the fuck is that smell?" "Who died in here?" "Okay who had the fish for lunch and didn't open a window?" Finally I said very loudly "IT's ME! Damn it, it's me! Okay! Then explained why. The captain told me to go home and change because he didn't want to have the office smelling like a rotten hooker all day. I told him that I would go home and change, but when I got back....I wanted to know all about his experiences with rotten hookers.

My taste in music varies in artists from A to Z and with any genre of music.....except Reggae. I only like one Reggae song and it is "I Shot the Sheriff" Which is ironic, considering my profession..lol Anyhoo, I could not choose due to my love of so many songs. So I chose some that relate to what has been said to me in the past by those I adore and one song that I sing constantly on my walks. 'Sitting On The Dock Of the Bay' by Otis Redding. When I walk on the docks, it never fails...I sing this song..lol One of my favorite duets is Don Henley and Stevie Nicks. Their song illustrates that the tough exterior of a man can be drawn to someone opposite of his personality and love a soft angel. To me? I think that there is a 'Leather and Lace' personality in all of us. A very special man in my life hated country music, but he used to sing "Baby's Got Her Blue Jeans On" every time he saw me in them. This was the only country song he knew. I like how small things come to mind. Die Hard ZZ Top Fan! There isn't one song that I do not like. THEY ROCK! This song comes to mind because the very first time my brothers in blue saw me in a tight leather mini, they said those very words 'She's Got Legz' Please visit the other players, they are so worth a gander! sarahAnn69, LakeFX, bighoss2, Northern Star, remmy870, Whispermyname, JediMasterBater, cubbum52, 12gaugefan, guitartxn, fluffydawg, Rebel_Rebel, tributestar, steelrat60, sugasweety1, celticone, arabella_topaz, MrCoverYou, nickey69, Elle40 and d_licious_d easy access link http://bitly.com/bundles/rockhard6isback/a

Sunday, June 23, 2013, 9:59:29 PM- One of the best things about kids growing up.....
Is the ability to head on out and not worry about babysitters or if the house will be on fire upon my return. Saturday I headed out to San Francisco. The Golden Gate Bridge is one the most spectacular sites I have ever seen. I have crossed it a few times and each time it has been in different kinds of weather. Even in the fog, driving over it is a thrill. One of these days I will get the chance to enjoy as someone else drives over it, instead of being alone. I love how I stood in its wake and saw how such a humongous piece of beautiful steel disappeared into the fog. Somewhere in that delicious fog is a bridge covered in hundreds of cars. But the most important reason I drove out to San Fran was because Saturday evening I popped on over to Sonoma Wine Country and had dinner with VTCali. I had a great time, a fine dinner, lot's of laughs and snarky conversations...(okay we both were snarky) He almost talked me into setting bales of hay on fire. He is a sneaky devil. I will commit crimes, but I draw the line at pyromania. Getting hot is awesome, but it's better saved for the bed room. I wanted to run naked through the pastures, but he is afraid of cows and put his foot down....lol Later on I will catch up on the blogs to see how your weekends went. My weekend was fantastic.

I was dreaming that Janine Garrafalo was the checker at my grocery store and behind me in line was Crispin Glover wearing a vampire outfit and he was holding a carton of ho ho's. I don't even care for Janine Garrafalo or her comedy....lol. And don't try to tell me if was something that I ate. Because I had one strawberry pop tart before I went to bed. What happened to my dreams with Gerard Butler? I want him back. Well? Any answers on this one?

Last December, when I fell in the shower...Remember that? Well I had injured myself so badly and the pain was so great, I clenched my jaw with all my might. I clenched it so hard, the socket disc slipped out of the right side. I have been living with the pain since then. I'm not a whiner, so I won't go into the details of it all because that is my pain....not yours. Anyhoo, It takes a specialist to perform the procedure of pushing the disc back into the socket. Since December the insurance company has tried several ways to avoid the surgery and have sent me to other doctors to fix it. Even though the first specialist said there is only one way to do it. Sooooooooooooooooooooo I am right back at the very first doctor...lol. BUT GUESS WHAT? The insurance company has approved the surgery!! YAY! BUT, GUESS WHAT AGAIN? They denied the anesthesia for it!!! WTH? Yuppers! I thought WTH too! I couldn't take my anger out on the medical assistant. It isn't her fault. So I smiled and just spoke of my disappointment. Riddle me this? How does one have surgery on the jaw socket with out anesthesia? Hhmmmmmmmmm? A local shot won't do because of the nerves surrounding the socket. So now after all of the ordeals, the doctor won't do the procedure. I can't believe that I have to fight for something that is typically needed for surgery? This is the new medical insurance peeps! We have gone back in time to the dark ages where leaches are used and blood letting is back in fashion. It may hurt like hell, but I am still smiling and laughing over the lame ass decision. Life goes on. *walks away shaking head*
