My Dad had a stern and constant answer for anyone asking him to co-sign a loan. "NO, Not at all"
He wouldn't even co-sign for family members or even his own children. It didn't make him a bad man, it made him a wise man. As little as he had, he paid his own bills and on time.

My niece called and asked me to co-sign a loan for a car. My response was "No, Not at all"
I wasn't going to preach to her, but I was going to suggest a temporary 2nd job so she could earn it, but she hung up on me before I could suggest it. Oh well.

Views? Sign for a loan? I mean, even if they are responsible, what if something happened and you are stuck?

I was pulled over (again) for excess of speed. Yes, I was going fast. As a matter of fact I was going 74 mph in a 65 mph on the freeway. I was ready for him..... Engine off, Radio off, Window down, License and Registration at the ready and a smile.

He approached and asked:
CHP: Do you know how fast you were going?
Me: Why yes I do! I was traveling in excess of speed of 9 mph over the 65 speed limit. **big grin**

He was so shocked by my admittance of guilt that he stood there for a few seconds and said "You ruined my opening line" I was let go with a warning when I said "We can do this over again if you want?"

This time I wasn't let go because of my boobs.
Sometimes a sense of humor and making an officer laugh will do it.

She was great at showing "The Hand".....we all know what that means...lol L. did it constantly.
I wished I had counted how many times in one day that she would do it.
It was funny to hear her say "What Ever" While performing *the hand / neck snapping / head tilting / eye rolling* combo. It was perfection!!
I was never one to do "The Hand" She did it enough for the two of us. It never bothered me, but man did people dislike her for it. Then again, a lot of people didn't like her. But L didn't care. She had me! Hahahaha.
L is in my heart and she is in my memories each time I see anyone giving "The Hand" gesture.

Gotta love those irritating yet lovable mannerisms.

After work I wanted to watch the ocean waves crash against the rocks.

M: Hi! What time is it there?
Me: Um? M, you live in Oregon, not the other side of the world.
M: Well you said that you might be going to see the boys in San Diego this weekend.
Me: Um? M???? San Diego is still in the same time zone.
M: I guess I must still be on Florida time.
Me: Oh, did you go see the grandkids?
M: No. Why?

This woman has a Teaching Degree, a Masters Degree in Arts and a Bachelors in Business.
I wonder if she has stuck a fork in a toaster one time too many. I can sleep now. She is safely tucked in bed.

I am so disappointed in the young. I over heard two teenagers talking.
They appeared to be in high school. Here are a couple of wonderful comments.

"Where is you going?"
"You ain't not gonna buy that"
"You gets the cookie dough"
and there were a couple of "Why fors" in there.

If I uttered one word that was improper when speaking, my Dad was all over me.
